That is because Colors doesn't care abt DD the person, they only care abt her being in thr show as MB and her promotion is just part of Colors business strategy. It was quite clear from the last week's episode when they called DD to say that dialog to SRK when we know DD personally isn't his fan because channel asked her to do and now they brought in VD as RK again a channel's call. These actors don't have much say in channel's decision.

I believe they promote Sid more than DD during the episode. Kapil/Manish call him to the stage in every episode to do something unlike DD who is seen only once in a while and that too only when some movie actors come.

Promoting in just one episode doesn't prove anything... colors constantly keeps tweeting DD and so on.. the promotion is really badly designed
