What Salman is ... Smart! - Page 2

Well I have been one of those who have criticised Salman this season, especially after the second act.
I still maintain that as a viewer I would like to see more variety but I do agree as a competitor he is being smart.
He cannot pull off all that he did last year simply because DD is no Isha or Yana,..she doesnt have formal training like they did nor can give 12 hrs for practice daily thanks to her other show. He cannot be as flamboyant and as versatile as he was past 2 years hence maybe the missing 5%.
having said that he isnt going completely easy either..the ariel act and flamenco are not easy to grasp..so he is pushing her within her limits keeping her plus points and limitations in mind.
And she has improved steadily. nothing dramatic but the direction is right
they have been performing consistently (not as good as last two years but then it doesn't make sense to expect that standard from them this year) and doing good compared to many other

Besides not that it is an excuse but he has proved himself already, so now its time to act smart which he is doing..
the only other choreo who has being smart through out the season is Marischa..taking into consideration Shaan's strength and weaknesses andgetting good points

@redfox It's simple as that. And yes, Marischa has really surprised me. I'm happy of her this season. Always liked her.

Have been reading a lot of posts - How he is not in full form this season, how a certain other choreographer is more talented than him ... etc. I'm sure you all have read the same posts as I and are aware of the talks.

What is talent? Is not it a natural aptitude? If some people possess talent, how can it be vanished in thin air? A man who was/is one of the most brilliant choreographers of this generation is being put down just because he is paired up with the most loved and hated celebrity of the season, Drashti?

Salman is doing a good but he is capable of offering many dance varieties which he did deliver it yet. In general they are getting positive feedback from the Judges and the viewers too ( they are not in bottom 3 yet). He has been criticized a lot in the forum because many non DD fans are not happy with his paring with DD and that why they are highly critical of him this season . Actually, I am more satisfied with Salman with DD than last year with Isha. Reason, Isha was a professional dancer and cut above all other, same as Lauren this season. But DD is more less same as other celebs and still very consistent and showing improvement. It is not like they did not take risk, they are taking calculated risk. Aerial was risky and beautiful, floor dances has been beautiful too. Still 13-14 performances remaining for them to perform on this show.
