I do agree. Firstly, I don't like the idea of having professional dancers as participants in a show which is suppose to be about non-dancers. My conscience doesn't allow me to support them even if they are the most talented of the lot. And I feel bad because for this reason I don't support the two kids this time as amazing as it is what they can do at their age. Anyway, coming back, Puneet-Lauren didn't deserve 30 this week or last week. Like KJo (or so he claims), I also look at the caliber of the couple when I form an opinion about whether I like or not their performance. Considering that Lauren is professional, I expect DID level performances from this pair for them to deserve full marks.

As much as I have seen Lauren in SYTYCD and in the past, I felt that this act was of her caliber. It had challenged her and I have not seen any of the past contestants perform semi-classical so beautifully like she did. Ofcourse she is a trained dancer so is naturally better than others but everytime you can't question her 30's. Last week was not upto the mark but this week she was. Same I felt with the kids...they weren't upto their potential either but still got good marks.

I think she gets marks not only based on her performance, the concept ws new and she pulled off Indian MYTHO quite well, the judged definately gv her marks for trying smthing new, inspite of not being an INDIAN, She pulled it off quite well, but agree with you she could hv raised her standard, but than we can gv her a chance for trying smthing new!!

They absolutely deserved 30. Period. It was pure dancing. And definitely one of the finest acts of this weekend. Even though Lauren is trained dancer she stepped out of her comfort zone for the act and executed very well. Expressions also were very good.
