They say when the character becomes bigger than the actor it is the greatest proof that the actor has excelled at his/her job!!!!

In short if Madhubala has became a household name than the credit goes to Drashti!!

Of course I would prefer them taking the name Drashti. But I for one like the name Madhubala too. Because of the Bollywood actress it represents beauty and class.. so don't have any problem with them calling her Madhubala.

And Nitu, just because a person happened to make a mistake in spelling her name doesn't mean they don't know her. Its a pretty dumb statement that you just made to be honest. You have every right to express your opinion.. however, I do feel you're being biased here. You wouldn't be saying this if it was Shweta instead of Drashti.

👏...agree what kind of statement is that if I spelled Drashti's name incorrectly I am nor her fan? Honestly, I still use Drasti sometimes...and spelling her name wrong doesn't make me less of her fan! That is just a dumb logic.

that tweet isnt from a fan... it's from a media person!

the point of this topic is that Colors' is hell bent on calling her Madhubala every episode and in promotions which is pretty lame considering it's reality show! I think ALL contestants should be address by their actual name... screen names once in a while is fine but shoving it down viewers throats is annoying and I expressed it!

The point is that Drashti's name is normally written as Drishti. But Drashti is different. Maybe none of the other contestants have a show out that is as popular as Madhubala yet. For an example, Parvarish only had a trp of .06.

what does other shows and their trps have to do with Jhalak? I think outside shows or characters shouldnt be shoved down viewers throats like Madhubala and to a lesser extent Amma Ji and Shiv! Jhalak is a dance reality show so they should keep it that way and not make it into a soap by promoting fictional characters!
