Heartiest Congratulations Sharmaji!

The first few lines of this very amateur poem was penned few days ago..and was posted on the Dhyawad thread..now I have simply elaborated on it...My first ever long ode...

An ode to Ashish - Ek Sitara!

Iss shrasti ka ek chipa hua taara

(A hidden star of the universe)

Nikla ek kathin rann ki ret ko paar kar

(came out and crossed the tough desert terrain

Iss Daud ke harr badhaaon se ladkar

(in this race he crossed every hurdle

Aa pahuncha apne lakshya ke paas

(did manage to reach his goal)

Toh hum prashansak ko kaise na ho iska ahsaas?

(so how could his fans not be aware of his feat?)

Aakhir woh hai humara ek Anmol Sitara...aur sabse Khaas sabse Khaas!

(after all he is our precious star...and the one who is special)

Bas bade aage woh lekar... apna tute hue shareer, sahas aur bujurgon ki asheesh

(he went forth with courage, elders blessings...and a broken body)

Choda nahi prayaas na jeet ka vishwaas.

(did not give up his efforts nor his faith to win)

Diya saat unke Ardhangini aur Nritya ke saathi ne...

(Lending support was his wife & dancing partner..)

Woh pahunche Akhri Charan apne iss Yaatra mein.

(he reached the final leg of his journey)

Aur yahan hui saari raat jaagran unke chahiton ke voton se...

(Whilst his admirers did an all night vigil with votes)

Abb akhir the chaar virodhi iss nritya ke mukable mei.

(with four opponents left in this battle)

Thi woh haar-jeet faisle ki ghadi...aur hum the bechain...

(it was the deciding hour...and we were filled with worry...

Mila tweet...Nritya ka Badshah...hue Ashish...Vijeta Ashish

(came a tweet emerged Ashish the King of Dance)

Khushiyon ke maare hua saare fangirls uchal kood se ludak!

(Wtih happiness all the fangirls jumped with joy and plonked)

Abb iss aasha mein baithe hai ki kab hogi Sharmaji...aapki parde par agli Jhalak?

(now we wait with hope Sharmaji to see the next glimpse of you on our screens)

Hi girls, i know most of you have reserved spots here and also have posted messages for AS. Looks like this thread was opened by our mods for discussion amongst us fans regarding the kind of thread we want and any questions we had. The original thread will be opened in a while and all u girls can post there and the ones posted here will be merged too.

I have asked the mods permission for Shweta to open the thread and am waiting for her response.

Shweta has an awesome thread, which is going to be a treat to all fans..So just wait for a while while we get things sorted and post the thread.
