The pretty and stunningMouni Roy, whose journey on Jhalak Dikhla Jaaseemed to have definitely been an awesome one, speaks to urlremoved about her overall experience on the show, toughest performance & lots more!
How was your overall experience on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa?
I had always dreamt of being part of such a show, and my dream did finally come true! It was an awesome experience, something which will always be close to my heart forever! Some great performances, a lovely choreographer & so much love from the audiences, has all been an excellent & very satisfying experience for me.
Your toughest performance on the show?
Every performance I worked on throughout Jhalak, was a tough one for me! It actually was me competing with myself, through each stage of this show, by delivering an even better performance each time. I was totally caught up in the competition within myself, so everything I put up became a challenge in itself, to prove myself better step by step.
Your experience working with Punit on the show as your choreographer?
I couldn't have ever asked for a better partner than Punit! He became a teacher & a friend! He fathered me throughout this entire season of Jhalak. He made go out there to conquer everything! The spirit to fight is what he initiated in me, is something which I will take along with me forever, throughout my life.
Who did you feel was your toughest competitor throughout the show?
I never felt that any particular contestant or jodi was tough competition, as it was me competing with myself, throughout this journey of Jhalak. Our choreographers played a huge role in driving out all the thoughts of any kind of competitiveness amongst us contestants, through the show. They were all so friendly & chilled with each other, that when we came onto the show, the same happened with us all too! So yes, nobody felt like tough competition ever.
Any new friends you made through this season of Jhalak?
Ohh everybody! We all happened to bond really well through the season, & so everybody became pretty friendly with each other. For me, Punit of course is now a good friend for life! Shakti & I who lost touch post college days, bonded back again really well through Jhalak, which feels awesome! Pooja too has been a great friend, and Akshat & Vaishnavi, my cute bacchas, became really close to me too, through the show!
Your favourite Jhalak judge?
Ohh I love all of them! Though Madhuri Ji is just epic!!
What will you miss most about Jhalak?
The Jhalak stage is what I will miss the most! As well as Jhalak house, & all the rehearsals & fun we would all have together!
Finally, a message for all your fans for so much love, support & voting throughout?
I don't even know where to start from, as these people have just been so so awesome! The amount of love & support they have showered us with throughout, has been incredible! All the voting, tweets, messages encouraging & supporting us has just been lovely. It felt as if our fans walked with us through this entire journey. All the love has been very overwhelming, & so a big big thank you to everyone!
