I don't bother with little details like correct punctuation or proper spelling. It's just something a lot of us have gotten used to in the age of Facebook and Twitter. I guess b/c we don't care if our grammar is right or wrong! We are not writing a paper where we hav to proof read!

I hope you know every time you type "OMG" or "LOL," you are contributing to the downfall of the English language!

I doubt that the grammar nazi was after you sweetheart. You formed coherent sentences where I didn't feel like I was decoding a different language.

Also, since we are talking about it, I agree that typing "OMG" or "LOL" is contributing to the downfall of the English language. However, those are now famous abbreviations. I don't care if people are not detailed with their grammer or punctuation, but some people type with so many short forms that it hurts when trying to understand what they are trying to say.

I rest my case at that.

Agree with you on that one👍🏼 I feel like it's more of a country thing too! If there are a lot of acronyms in ones text, then they should include a list of abbreviations to help the reader.
