^That's what it came off as with your 'he came on the show to earn his living' comment. If he's not doing a show a favour, JDJ isn't his only way to earn his 'bread and butter'..

To You, it may not seem like he was treated unfairly on the show but to others, its very obvious that they could have shown more consideration for someone who's chosen to take part in a show even if he didn't have to. Like you said, it benefits both. =P But it only seems like Maks happened to be the only one trying.

Watched the previous episode and i felt sorry for maks...everything was happening in hindhi and he just watched...i understand its for the desi audience bur then y the heck get an intl judge. I have seen maks in dwts and hes such a a livewire...hes so entertaining and hilarious. I felt sad that he could not participate in the desi humour. He def. looked out of place.

Everyone's perception varies, but wht I do find amusing is many feeling sorry for poor Mak whn he himself hasn't said anything to indicate dat. And of course he must hv many means to earn his bread nd butter, but Jhalak too was one of d means nd he chose to come. Also he was barely der for a couple of weeks nd I suppose it was totally his call whether he wanted to continue or not.

Of course he isn't going to bad talk a show having been on it. =/ One of the many reasons I've come to respect him. I don't doubt he enjoyed himself. There were many instances where we could see, he was having fun. But there were more times where he was clearly, uncomfortable than comfortable. He didn't to say anything. You can tell.

I know that if I was in a show where people around me kept speaking a language I didn't understand and didn't even bother to try to translate or ensure there was some way I could understand, i would be very uncomfortable. Especially when they kept making all those jokes and he felt like he was missing out on something.. and the time they had to tell him they weren't talking about him. How do you think that felt?

I'm not saying that the show should've bent over on its back to please Maks. Nobody is saying that. But isn't treating your guest with consideration common courtesy? Isn't that what we Indians are known for in particular?

U knw funny u shld mention ppl speaking in a language one doesn't understand as dat it wht I always face. I got married nd now live in a state where dey mostly speak in their vernacular language nd I don't understand it nd yes it can been frustrating. Also as someone said it is silly of d channel to stick to hindi whn it says it's going international. At least whn it's a foreigner others shld be allowed to converse wid him/ her in english nd dey can always hv voice overs to translate in hindi. But other than during judging nd also den, I am sure ppl must hv conversed wid him in English.

As for treating guests or even others is concerned, it has become quite fashionable to be rude and insulting on TV nd it isn't only restricted to Maks. Sonakhshi throwing footwear at Palak, or making sly innuendos abt say Karan nd his choreographer whn Karan already is involved wid someone else, all r beyond d bounds of common courtesy.

^Exactly, my point! People are bringing up why viewers who felt bad for Maks expect the show to bend over backwards and change for a foreigner. That's not what we're saying at all! We're just wondering why the show couldn't make it easier for him to understand what they were saying? They could've gone on with his antics but at least make sure the person YOU invited, knows what the heck is going on.

Yes, he came there for the money as well. But he came there because dancing is his passion. He was only interested in the dance. It was obvious from the way he was all smiles after every performance. It was also obvious by how he intently listened to what each judge had to say.

It doesn't really matter to me, to be honest, because I only watch Maks's parts now. 2 more episodes of him and then I'll stop watching JDJ. It's too mediocre for me.

they could have given him a translator. like dude you can spend loads of money on shitty costumes of madhuri, get a tailored suit from ZARA for host but you cant do that? Really unfair how JDJ treated him. I always knew JDJ cant meet standards of Dancing with stars. The show is very lame to be honest and everything seems fake. season 1 and 2 were no doubt good but not anymore
