I noticed that too. He seemed to be a bit serious and nervous in the earlier episodes but seems like he is enjoying himself now. Even his dance bits during the faceoff were cute

Yeah! Even in the faceoff he was all cool and confident! I love the fact that Ashish is opening up!

Yep. Towards the end. When they called everyone on stage to announce the contestant in danger who'll go in faceoff.

What i like the most about him is that at no point outside his performance it seems that he is putting up an act to impress the viewers or the judges...except whatever is scripted of course. He is just his natural self..earlier when he was nervpus and shy it showed and now that he seems to be genuinely more relaxed that shows too.

He is the most genuine of the lot. Not fake at all. And at times, I am so relieved that he is missing in the contestants area so that he doesn't have to witness half the bullshit that goes on in the name of humor in JDJ. And am always glad that they don't include him in the stupidity.
