I have to agree with star_girl here. Shakti usually throws a jacket or wrap over any dress too revealing BUT never and I mean never a jeans. That is just impractical. No, I dont think they will change before the performance. Which can only mean one thing. We are not getting any classicals. And I for one am very unhappy. All my high hopes of Tushaar and Shakti stealing the show, because this is his forte. I need to vent out!! UGGGHHH!!! WHY OH WHY????

I am completely annoyed too. Very bad idea. The worst ever.

Shakti is not very good in classical from what I have seen of her, so it would have been a challenge. God knows why they have decided to go the easier route.

Shakti herself is quoted as saying that she wants to try her hand at Indian classical and she did her basics in Bharatnatyam, albeit in school. But oh well, Classical training is something that never leaves you and she would not have been a complete naive. Even I am curious. Why??? The only hope I have is that they are doing classical with western outfits. Lord alone knows why though.Everyone out there is all dressed upto the nines looking like exotic butterflies and my girl opts for a jeans. Freaking jeans. Pissed.

Which still is a bad idea.

Because Shakti needs to do classical in order to stand out as a team. And I am sure she does. She has a typical Indian look about her, which should go well with Indian clothes. This is the risk they take? Fusion? Just no.

Stupid decision is all I can say. Very disappointed.

Well its Indian...and I'm sure Tushar wouldn't let Shakti do western bits...coz mainly the contestants have to follow the given form and not the choreos...so guys don't jump into any such conclusions so early

I'm sure Shaks is doing some Indian form only...point to consider here is we all are not well aware of all Indian forms so they might have chosen a form that's not so popular or something...hence dressing would not be like typical classical forms

Wait for promos before jumping into conclusions coz shakti is not the one to play safe...she loves to explore and she wouldn't waste this oppurtunity

Very stupid decision. Made in India as a theme should have both the partners doing Indian dances. Ah,well the challengers themselves were so vague in their concept. Passing off karmagraphy as something Indian and the judges praising them to the heavens. I guess people thought everything goes in this theme. Anyways, this is how I wanted to see Shakti. These pics and Tushaar wearing a dhoti and getup that complements this pic. I will stop hoping from now onwards. *sobs*
