You've been accused of having pulled strings for Prachi's victory in 'Jhalak...'.

Let's not rake up the issue as people will anyways believe what they want.

Then how did Prachi win despite Sandhya being the better dancer?

She won because she is Bani of 'Kasamh Se' (Zee). She is popular with the viewers and got more votes than co-finalists Jay Bhanushali and Sandhya Mridul.

How did Prachi react to this whole controversy?

The kid is a bit shocked at how the credit of her hard work has been taken away. But we all told her to enjoy because she knows that no one called the channel (Sony) or the production house (Synergy Adlabs) to get her the trophy.

But is that all you want to say in your defence?

More than me, I would like Sony or Synergy to speak. I am shocked that they still haven't. After all, it's the reputation of their show that is at stake.

So how are you planning to celebrate Prachi's win?

I am hosting a party this week — it's a combined celebration of the wedding of friends (Nivedita Basu and Anupam) and of course Prachi's victory.

Thanks for the article. But seriously, why do so many people have a vendetta against Ekta Kapoor. She just makes soap operas, no? So much controversy over her it's just unbelievable. 😕 Maybe it's my limited knowledge about her. 😳

What a contrasting statement because in one reply she says that Sandhya is better dancer but Prachi won because she is "Bani of Kasam se" and is very popular. On the other hand she says that credit of her hard work is taken away !

By saying that she won because of being Bani, Ekta is herself taking away the credit from Prachi for her win and then when others do that, she is complaining ???

Hmm...I think that she said that Prachi is shocked over what Prachi believes was her hard work being discredited, and not that Ekta believes Prachi's hard work was discredited. The wording in the article is sort of vague and can give way to several meanings.😳
