You are absolutely right!

he didnt really do a good job at judging anyway in JDJ...In my opinion, he did not give any constructive feedback to a choreo or critisized anyone for that matter..he was just there to work on his hindi..and now showing support to sandhya is just not done..

I agree...
But we cant blame him. He wants talent to be recognised and given its due. Sandhya is a good dancer and seeing her in the danger zone, does hurt Shiamak. Him being a devoted dancer/choreo, cant see talent not being given its due, so thats why he voices his support like this. Cant blame him. i too feel helpless and hurt/sad when Sandhya is not given enuf votes coz ppl dislike her personality. She might not be diplomatic, but she voices what she feels. She works hard and is seen in her performances.

You guys are being unfair with him. As a judge and a dancer he wants the best dancer to win and not the more popular one. This argument of popular vs. talented has gone on many reality shows... and it is always going to be as fans vote for their fav. stars and not the deserving candidates.
Personally I like Prachi and have voted for her before she was eliminated... but it would be compeletly UNFAIR if she wins the compotition. To me it seems more like "Match Fixing".
Solely basing on perfomances, Sandhya is a far better dancer then Prachi... and I am judging a Dance show not a popularity or charcher in some soap.

But guys you are forgeting Shiamak didnt say Prachi is winning just because of popularity he said plus she is also a great dancer !!!

he has every right to give his opinion, he is right..this is not a popularity contest. He doesn't have to be nuetral..he has to use his dancing knowledge to see who is the best, and so he did. He is not being biased, he is being honest.
and he is so right..despite of whoever wins, Sandhya is the TRUE winner 👏 👏 👏

Bani is popular because of only kasam se but sandiya is popular of many other famouse movies. 😕

I don't know why people bring other things like which serial one worked or movie they did. Just watch them on dance floor and judge them for their performances and personalities on JDJ.

I dont think Bani-Prachi is any more popular than Sandhya who also has worked serials and movies. so all that even outs. Anyways who cares about that?

Who ever dances well, has great stage presence and positive personality will win with public.

Shamiyak should not be giving out his personal opinion abt a specific contestant. he has job to be fair. he can say a general statement to vote for best dancer but should not be rooting for a specific candidate b/c his fans will vote for the contestant who he is supporting and the other two contestant will lose out IMHO. That is the point Mr. Negi was trying to make.
