I know I'm doing this review a bit late. Today we will watch this weeks dancing, and I am only now reviewing last weeks. But that's because my Sky box had stopped working and I couldn't watch last weeks until yesterday! However I didn't read any spoilers so it was a surprise for me when I saw the performances of 12th October and then the eviction of 13th October.
Here's what I thought. My Review:
Episode: 12th October
[The 3rd time dancing for contestants!>
With the boys doing Disco and the girls doing Cha Cha Cha, this episode turned out to be quite a fun one, as both dance forms are lively and fun to watch!
Judges:
Jeetendra: At times he confuses me, but most of the time he does a very good job with judging.
Shaimak: He's not lived upto what I expected of him as a judge, but he's good nonetheless.
Urmila: Oh I really love this girl now! She's such a lovely judge. She speaks very well and often agree with her.
Contestants:
Mini Mathur Cha Cha Cha :: 7/10 ::
A cute performance. Mini has really improved as a dancer and handled the steps really well. I was really disappointed with her choreographer initially but now I've begun to like him! I really enjoyed this performance and felt it was highly unfair that the judges marked it so low. They deserved a higher rating! Oh and it was really unfair for Shaimu to criticise them for the lifts...He should've learnt about the brief they got [to mix the Cha Cha Cha with Bollywood] before judging, it's unfair to judge without knowing what the contestants were briefed with, for heavens sake!
Ronit Roy Disco :: 8/10 ::
Energy personified! Ronit is a brilliant dancer and did a fantastic job. The choreography was wonderful and both Ronit & his choreographer danced great. I loved this performance!! I didn't like how Shaimu criticised him for the pelvic movements! I thought Ronit did a fine job. I mean there is always scope for improvement and I'm not saying he was perfect, hence I'm not scoring him a 10 on 10, but I kind of understand why Ronit didn't put such energy into those thrusts haha Shaimu looked vulgar when he demonstrated!
Sudha Chandran Cha Cha Cha :: 6/10 ::
Oh please everyone stop voting for her! She is so annoying. I hate the expressions she pulls, it's so annoying! And she's not even all that great a dancer...especially considering she was a TRAINED dancer before - isn't that unfair and against the rules of the show anyway? It's totally silly and a call for sympathy only, nothing else. The performance was alright, boring if you ask me! She is being overmarked for no reason, oh wait there is a reason - sympathy!
Cyrus Broacha Disco :: 6/10 ::
Haha he's very cute and it was good to see him pull his weight and at least try to do well. It's good that he's trying to take it seriously. Honestly, he's no dancer. But he's making the effot and he deserved to be praised for that. The choreographer did a wonderful job and the performance was entertaining.
Prachi Desai Cha Cha Cha :: 9/10 ::
Oh she was a dream! She danced so perfectly. This girl has been the dark horse of the show. I was so pleased to see her lead the scoreboard for the evening. She truly deserved it. She makes a great team with her choreographer and you can tell just how hard working she truly is. Her hard work is paying off, she's almost like a professional dancer!
Mika Mehndi Disco :: 5/10 ::
Am I being generous giving him a 5? Probably! He was quite stupid. Half the time he looked like he was about to go push himself into his choreographer and knock her over too. He can't dance - it's as simple as. He's entertaining, yes... But, he can't dance. And to top it off, he's been given the worst choreographer of the lot! His choreographer is a plain...piece of nonsense (the word I wanted to use would've been censored).
Tapur Chatterji Cha Cha Cha :: 7/10 ::
Tapur truly improved from her first performance. This one wasn't as good as the second, but nonetheless she was good. She's a good dancer now and can show off some really impressive moves! Entertaining performance with good choreography!!
Jay Bhanushali Disco :: 8/10 ::
He did a really good job and has truly improved. I wasn't too impressed with him the first time but he's come some way since then. His choreographer is so adorable, I just love her, and she gives really good steps to him and made a great and fun performance to watch!
Sandhya Mridul Cha Cha Cha :: 8/10 ::
Sandhya is like fire onstage! She's so energetic and so energising... Watching her really is like watching energy spin around a room! She's a fantastic dancer, and I do find it hard to digest that she's not a professional sometimes to be honest... She's really good, and yes expectations are always high from her but I think last week especially and even this week the judges have become slightly harsh on her. She's fantastic, it was a great performance... I love her choreographer!
Mihir Ranjan Negi Disco :: 7/10 ::
I agree with the judges that this was perhaps Negi's worst performance, but nonetheless it was good. Negi's a very good dancer... He's flexible and moves well! I'm really impressed by him, earlier I was expecting absolutely nothing from him. His choreographer is wonderful and they make a brilliant team. Enjoyable performance.
Sonali Kulkarni Cha Cha Cha :: 7/10 ::
Oh Toby! I was so disappointed because Jeetu and Urmi were right, this was more about posing around and modelling, then dancing! Well that's what it seemed like to me! I really expected more. It was good of course, but I expect more from Toby's choreography. Sonali did a decent job with performing it.

[The 2nd eviction!!>
Shocked? Yes, to an extent... But not really, because Tapur must have an extremely weak fan-base.
It was sad to let Tapur go when she's improved so much. This time, Mika truly should have gone - he is the worst dancer of the lot and his choreographer is the worst from choreographers.
Oh and guys I'm confused... Why aren't the evictees doing a dance performance when they leave? I'm sure that's what happened last year - the person voted out, would perform a leaving dance! Why aren't they doing that this time? I wish they did, it'd be so much more fun!
I'm going to miss Tapur to an extent, but I guess someone had to leave.
Technically the next one to leave should be Mika.
Personally I want Sudha Chandran to just go away from the show, 'coz she annoys the living daylights out of me.
