Mona Singh is highly overrated! - Page 4

Well,Mona lacks the grace..She hops,she jumps,she runs..all sans grace..Svetha is so graceful,even Svetha's twirls are so graceful,so perfect..... Svetha's body is in perfect proportion for the dance styles,be it rumba,salsa,cha cha cha,disco or bollywood..Svethas' hip movements,footwork etc is so explicit and unambiguous...Svetha carries off the costumes that Rumba/salsa demand for with much more panache than Mona does!..Svetha,as a total package is perfect..she's got everything....The same cant be said about Mona

Well,closely watch the last dandiya performance y'day..Svetha danced to a bollywood number,and if you carefully notice,mona and svetha were juxtaposed,as I had allready mentioned in the first page of this post...

Svetha's movement was great,when she gyrates,she looks svelte and lissome...and when she lifts her hand and does the dandiya,its all so synchronized..Whereas watch Mona too..She was slow in the dandia,she couldnt keep up pace with Svetha,who was dancing right next to her like a sylph😳👏...Svetha is quicker,she is more flexible,and Mona lacks flexibility...C'mon,none of Mona's lifts look as impressive as Svethas...Yes,maybe Svetha's trained,but this is a competition,an I dont care two hoots about who is trained and who is not...Its a visual medium,and what looks good to my eye would win my appreciation 😛

and I would certainly look at technicality more,afterall,Its a dance competition,not a facial expression competition..and I feel Svetha's expressions are quite good..maybe she doesnt over do it like mona(a perpetual grin plastered on her face,which makes her look like a bimbo) ...and about Mona's passion..I agree,she comes across as zesty..But that's to make up for the lack of grace

alll i would say is that both are dancing good but the way u underlooking mona's performace is not very justfull of u.. shwetha is a petite woman therefore she can spin around easily whereas monas is x-large lady 😆 but still she manages to do everything with such fun grace n relaxation that i really put my hats off for her!! bravo! 👏

mona has the spunk, while shweta is a bit more driven to win.
i definitely agree with buffie that shweta is a perfect perfect dancer in this competetion . She knows it too. Some fans have criticised her on lack of facial expressions. If she can "let go" a bit, she won;t look stern, she may look bubbly and more enthusiastic and then she may just bag that 30 she deserves from day-1. She really rocks, and she is here to win!! She could use some COOL..

Mona, on the other hand is trying hard. She is trying to go as far as she can, so the pressure to be #1 is lesser. Mona's choreographer is super! He knows what Mona lacks and he tends to make the dance a fit for her structure most of the times. (* the last one was a bit hard for her structure and lack of flexibility being proper samba rather than aambaa, thaamba whatever like mahesh)

I find them very entertaining and like someone mentioned earlier, perhaps this all boils down to these two getting big breaks in movies..

Shveta has a structured and petite body so she makes use of her assets to the fullest
if Mona doesn't have a flexible body and has never danced before .....whats wrong with that.... she is still improving herself.... whereas shveta is a perfectionist.......
there is no competition between an improved and improving contestants
and earlier Mona got less points whereas shveta is getting almost full points every week and she deserves that.........
max they can give is an aggregate of 30.... if Mona performs well comparatively she gets more than that of she got in her earlier performances.......
what do you think Mona should have got a 20 or 25 ???
then why didn't you all object earlier when she got around 25s.......

Shweta is immensly talented, trained, experienced and has got flexibility and grace ..... whereas Mona lacks in all these aspects....

all the contestants are treated same when they are lined up in a reality based show for celebs like these........ no one is termed or considered especial in this manner BUT Mona deserved those points that night she got 2 less than full coz of her flaws....

you can object that Shveta got underrated than saying Mona got overrated

Judges shud have given Shveta a sum of 30 points by technically judging and keeping in mind the X factor

Mona has her bad and good days..... depending on that she is getting marks......... this competition doesn't claim to assign marks by comparing all performances ..... its not the criteria
when they are in competition they should improve themselves
all human beings can't be same....... so the judging criteria for all cannot be same either
God has created us with some special features its upto you to carry them as gracefully as you can BUT what about those who haven't got these from GOD they have to be judged but taking their confidence level of carrying themselves and focussed work at its best

Mona has a wild body... she is hefty..she can't hekp it

I agree that shveta is outstanding! BUt that doesnt mean that u will start bashing Mona!!
Weight has nothing to do with dance! She is trying her best! She is not a dancer but still she is doing soo good!She always tries varities of dance rather than just sticking to one style! And her varity of dancing rocks!! We shud apprieciate Mona for that rather then comparing her with sheveta!😭😕😭
None of the Mona fans said bad things abt shevta! So why will sheveta fan bash Mona! Its fine if u have ur own favs! But the person u hate might be sumone else's fav! So plz dont hurt them by saying bad things abt them.Its a request! 😊😊
We shud all enjoy the show and say positive things! I am not saying tat u r not allowed to say negative things! U have full right to express ur opinion! But ewerything has a limit! Doesnt it??😃😃

it is not like anybody bashed mona in this post. Come on guys!! if someone has a big structure, whats wrong with saying that? nobody called her fat / ugly. NOBODY is bashing her. please relax and please explain what is the LIMIT?? i am als sorry if i offended you, but there has to be really a limit to getting hurt due to MILD & JUSTIFIABLE negative comments. this had been a healthy thread so far. enjoy. If everyone has to say good things about everybody, then why bother to have a discussion?? Variety of opinions is the spice of forums😃. If everyone agrees/ FAKES to agree, then what's the point????
