Nice interview.

But.. umm.... how is this a case of 'sour grapes'??? Cos the allegations weren't made by any contestant who got defeated or eliminated... they were made by the media-- who is a third party. We could have called it a case of 'sour grapes' if some eliminated contestant cried foul over the show or made these allegations. The use of this phrase seems a bit weird in this situation- doesn't gel. It would have been better if you had said that the rumour mongers worked overtime during Jhalak or something like that. How come sour grapes--???? Is it just me who feels that the use of this phrase is wrong here or someone else feels so too?

Anyway, forget all that and enjoy! You've worked hard, now party hard with the money.

Question to Chang fans-- Is Chang still a practising dentist, or has he changed his vocation entirely???

@Nikita : Arrey but he IS from the medical community! He was a practicing dentist before Idol....so what if he's not one now!

And continue to feel nice therefore!

Regarding "sour grapes" maybe it was just a wrong choice of vocabulary? Or to get far fetched, maybe he was referring to the fans of Sushant Yana in the media who were bringing all this up LOL.

And continue to feel nice therefore! 😃 Yeah sure.. dekha doctors (and dentists) kitne multi-talented hote hain... I also sing, write and act, but I can't dance to save my life...😆... maybe I will make a try now.

Seems the first one most likely, cos Sushant doesn't really have fans in TOI. He only has a detractor called Neha who posts spiteful news about him and Ankita😆. A little surprising about being the first possibility though, cos Chang always speaks very good English... I read his blog the other day-- "The chinky connection"-- something like that. That is why I found it a little surprising. I guess the poor guy got nervous when the media asked such uncomfortable questions and mumbled the first thing that came to his mind.😆

I believe the phrase "sour grapes" does not quite apply here. So there - I agree with you. Thud!
I hope Chang is well-grounded even after this success. He must be a graceful winner. If he develops the attitude of "neener neener" or "in your face", his career will be short-lived kinda like that bhutia guy.
I will tell this though. The guy's journey was amazing. He took on a big challenge knowing fully well of his competition and won it all. Throughout the journey, he pretty much kept his record clean. No controversial statements. No controversial injuries 😛

Are you referring to Baichung Bhutia's career as a footballer? That seems to be going very well as far as I know. If you meant his career in the glamour industry, he was never aiming to become a TV serial or film star. I am glad he tried something just for the sake of learning and then moved back to his original passion. Most people's heads would have been completely turned by stardom.
