Chang Marischa : it was a stupendous and super cute performance. I don't think the dance was easy! Ekdum ek saath boxes girna and all that must've been quite tough. A single coordination mistake would've killed all chances of getting 30. But they were totally in sync and Chang was oh so adorable! I love how Marischa can keep the choreography simple and clean and yet make the act look so lovely. She's risen so much in my estimation! Mera 10 inke naam !


Ragini Neerav : Great but not the bestest of performance. 9.5 from my side. Neerav has to make Ragini get a 30, he HAS to do something unique next time!!! It's high time she got a perfect score.

Yana Salman : Again good but not really upto their REALLY HIGH standards. 9 .

Relay was fun and aptly rated. I am totally looking forward tto today's epsiode and Sushant's performance, I hope he gets a 30 this time coz the act looks ultra awesome.

31^st January was full of lovely performances. Loved the face off between Ragini and Daya. Both of them performed very well.

Daya's final act was very very good. It truly deserved a 'this is it'. Very good job.

Coming to the performances and what I thought of them:

1.) Chang and Marischa: 10!!

The dance was done so smoothly and easily that it was impossible to think how much effort would have gone into it. I absolutely agree with what Madhuri said they danced as if the boxes were feather light, match box material. The chemistry was totally there and they looked so cutely romantic- Chang was bang on with his expressions. Aww..

2.) Ragini and Neerav: 9.3

A very interesting performance. I liked the whole package and especially the end part. Ragini has improved so much! Remo with the moon walk at the end was fab!!

3.) Salman and Yaana: 9

A nice clean performance. The lifts and moves were awesome and wonderfully done. But the lack of expressions cut the dance from the song, sort of took away the feel. The song was so beautiful and emotional and I felt it wasn't used enough. Overall, a very good performance, but not perr-fect, according to me.

Marks for relay were fine- Chang 10, Ragini 9, and Yana 8- but I personally liked Ragini's part the most- it was very impressive.

Firstly i want to say mailka looked stunning in the epi.....
and this week are my fav performances so far,sushant,chang and mahi's performances are in my list of fav jhalak season 4 performances.

Mahi-Savio-8.5
I loved the concept,it was differnent and the part where Mahi is holding onto the cradle and savio is pulling her away gave me goosbumps as did the end part where mahi tries to kill herself. even though it was a emotional performance and the lifts and presentation was nice,mahi didn't actually dance dance, i think it would have been better if savio put in some contempary moves in. In my opnion madhuri overmarked her,it was not a 10 mark performance considering its a dance show and there wasn't any actual dancing.

I actually wanted to see how the song had been used in the concept of the wall in between them. I think this performanced proved that shekar is infact a weak dancer because the actual dance steps he did were not clear or crisp they weren't very neat is what i mean. even if they had completed the performace i think he would have probaly got 7 from judges. plus i also felt that co-ordination was off preeti was a lilttle faster in movements so sadly only 2 from me. i was glad he didn't get another chance because if it happen to someone else again then it wouldn't be fair if they didn't get a second chance.

Ankita-Nishant-9
I liked all the differnt backgrounds and i liked that part where they had the magnified parts. ankita was very good,the end was very nice too although the finish wasn't there and you could see ankita running behined the sheet. overall it was really nice and nishant did a good job. Their co-ordination was really very good.

Sushant-Shampa-10
What can i say,im lost for words,it was brillant, i loved the slide part, sushant and shampa had chemistry,the slik rope part was really good and hats of to sushant and shampa. the song was the icing on the cake for me. i know i shouldn't compare but i felt that sushant and shampa's ariel act was a bit better than Salman Yana,only because i think sushant had to work much harder as he was holding shampa and also sushant/shampa's performace was more neat and flowing than Yana/Salman. but both were deserving of 10 marks nothing less.

Group Act
I liked the songs used in yesterdays performances more but the performances where better today overall out of the two.

Shekhar-preeti(6,5)
It was ok,nothing bad to say about it. ive not heard of the song before but they did well.
Maahi Savio(9)
Wow I loved it,Mahi was stunning and sexy,it was brillant.
Ankita-Nishant(8.5)
loved it again..ankita's expressions were brill but dare i say it nishant was irrating me a bit😆..his overexicted chulbul pandey moves.... but i was watching ankita.....and she was good.
Sushant-Shampa(10)
Again loved them,when shampa came from behind and jumped in sushant's back i wasn't expecting that,but it was good.like chang and marischa they too were in perfect co-ordination.
Sushant's smile just makes me melt☺️...but shampa was woah in that song...👏
next week
looks very challenging two performances. i think it will be unfair if anyone other than shekhar is eliminated becasue the contestants all gave their best and he couldn't complete his performance.

Chang - Marischa .... 10 10 10 baby! it was awesome blossom! ... loved the choreography .. very innovating and something different tht makes you happy to watch ... lovely!

Mahi's performance was an emotional one. I am really impressed with her, she has really improved in the past weeks. I agree with Malaika about her second performance, she looked gorgeous!!!

Shekhar, I am glad that the judges didn't have him continue to perform after he stopped midway that wouldn't have been fair to the other contestants. I didn't agree with the judges score on his second performance, to me it seems he was forgetting his steps. He was relying on his choreographer too much here.

Jan 31st

Ragini-Neerav- 8 the first performance.....I think that Ragini has improved SO freaking much....but the only thing they need to work on is coordination....and yes I'm glad judges saved her...she truly deserves it....and saying this as a biased phanki of her....you can tell she is getting bummed about coming in the bottom 3 all the time...poor thing....I really hope she gets a 30 next time😳

Daya-Vrushali- 7 The first performance was ok...but WOW what a guy yaar.....This is what you call a perfect human being...he is so sweet and down to earth...his speech almost moved me to tears....his second performance was a 9 for me...I'm sure if he wasnt eliminated...this was his best one yet

Chang-Marisha 10- WOW...just amazing....Chang is like becoming one of my favorites again...this like II3 all over again...lol my crush for him is coming back😳 Marisha is really a smart choreographer....loved everything about this act

Ragini-Neerav(MJ)- 9 for me.....doing MJ is freaking suicide ....but I must say I was impressed with their moves so much....I wouldst say I saw MJ in them or whatever....but that was a very very very great act for Ragini....she should have gotten a perfect 30 IMO....but only problem was coordination

Yana-Salman- 9.5 I thought the concept was good....and they executed their task well...but it was like same old same old🥱....the same old contemporary dancing....there was nothing new in dance moves...and this time I had my eyes on Yana the whole time....she is SO graceful and gorgeous.....I loved the little ballerina spin

Group- 9 overall I thought everyone did a good job...and I agreed with Remo...each of thier lifts were to good...but I felt as if it wasnt flowing well enough....like one came after the other very abruptly...😳 it was kinda awkward seeing Chang-Marisha performing and then Ragini-Neerav jump in from nowhere....but I loved Ragini and Chang in this performance...Yana-Salman disappointed me in the group act

Chang-Marisha 10- just too good....their enegry,coordination everything was great plus they got Chaiya Cahiya which is like one of the best songs EVER made😃

Ragini-Neerav-9 I thought the lifsts were really good....and dancing was good too would have loved to see something different from her

Yana-Salman 8 coordination was off...but I think they need to do folk dances like this more...Yana can definitely pull it off...it will be nice to see them doing something other than contemporary

1. Ragini-Neerav - 8 for actual performance, 9.5 for the 2nd one...ragini has seriously improved so much! She was awesome specially in the second performance...sharp & flawless moves! The choreography just needs to be improved, that's it.
   
2. Daya-Vrushali(both performances) - 7 for 1st one & 8.5 for second...he improved & choreography was better this time.
   
3. Chang-Marisha - 9.5 for main performance...interesting concept. Chang keeps improving so much every time! 8 for the 2nd one.
   
4. Yana-Salman - 10...flawless performance<3 kudos to yana for trusting salman so much...i never saw a celeb do an aerial act before...so i must say yana's REALLY brave! Loved it. 2nd performance...i wud give an 8.
   

Feb 1

Combining both days:

1) Chang-Marischa: 9/10.....loved Marischa's choreography once again and they both bring a sweetness to their acts that I really like.....Chang is a constant improvement and it's great to watch👍🏼

2) Ragini-Neerav: An improvement from last week....I'd give it a 8/10....there were some co-ordination issues as usual and finishing issues.

3) Yana-Salman: 8.5/10......I felt the song was not well edited....the choreography lacked flow....the stunts in the aerial portions were VISIBLY clumsy which I was surprised to see given how Salman is such a pro at this stuff from DID days.....but Yana fell behind and was disappointing in this act to me.....the discomfort showed on her face in many moments.....and the ending was so abrupt....I was sitting there wondering if I really just saw the end....lol

4) Mahi-Savio: 8.5/10......fab concept and really nice choreography by Savio.....very well emoted by Mahi....the emotions were bang on....but most of the performance just felt like Savio moving Mahi around through lifts.....hardly any dancing....even then I liked some lifts a lot....in particular the first one when he catches her as she's reaching for the toy and the one where they rotate the cradle together.

5) Ankita-Nishant: 9.5/10:....SUPERB....FINALLY Nishant pulled out some great choreography.....sooooooo creative.....one of the best shadow dancing acts I've seen I have to say....especially the play on size with the shadows and the various poses they assumed....like the candle one in the end....Ankita was soooooo graceful as always.....and this time even the flow and co-ordination fell into place.....In my opinion, her best performance in JDJ so far👏

6) Sushant-Shampa: 10/10.....BEST act of the week, without a doubt.....Malaika put it best....these two put their SOUL in every single act and flow sooooooo beautifully together that it's a treat to watch every single time.....it was a simple act in many ways....but they brought out the SOUL of the song so well....and they did very well in the aerial bits as well.....the dance and the flow was not compromised for the sake of acrobatics....that I found very impressive.


The relay....I LOVED Ankita's Munni Badnaam.....lol....that girl deserved top marks for that.....and Mahi showed a marked improvement in expressions in her bit too.....Sushant goofed up for a change😆....surprised the judges didn't mark him for that....but oh well.....Yana was totally OFF in sooooooo many places too....nothing rajasthani much in her act.....Chang-Marischa did very well.

Shekhar Suman is not worth commenting on.

P.S. LOVEDDDDDDDDD Daya's act.....and what an amazing human being....I'll miss his presence on the show.
