I love Shampa and Sushant, what a pair. They definitely have a smooth road in this competition, especially if they continue to perform so well.
I actually believe their moves were executed effortlessly, surprisingly, because it takes a lot of practice and technique to hold a good posture, land smoothly, and lift correctly. Considering Sushant, who isn't the best latin dancer .. he managed it very well 👏
I also think that his drama acting plays a big role in here, he is used to having clear body language.. something i have noticed for a while now.
And Shampa, it's easy to tell she's Terrence's baby! He taught her well 👍🏼

I dont understand why dance Latin-Ballroom dance on hindi songs?? Just dance Indian style dances on Bollywood songs...If they are going to perform Latin-American, Ballroom ETC type dance which has specific beats than use proper songs or music to dance on...Merely a suggestion...I am surprised to see Madhuri falling for some of these performance and giving high marks...Living in US must have given her more exposure to all other type of dances by watching...And how good she is with Bollywood or Indian classical dance should give her better understanding on Western dances...
I am not sure of Sushant's Partner's name spelling...😳
Pls share your thoughts...

i don't agree with u at all..i think he truly deserved the score cuz first of all the concept was new..we haven' t seen a concept like that before in any dance shows. secondly they had the right amount of act and dance if you watch the dance closely u'll see a lot of dance movements which are really smooth and it goes with their act really well and thirdly i think even Bollywood songs has beats that goes with all kinds of dancing and the song that they performed in went with there dance and act. so 30 was a well-deserved score for Sushant and Shampa for coming up with such a concept and presenting it out so well.👏

Hmm..I quite liked Sushant's act..it was the best of JDJ4 so far. I thought it had the right mix of dance, acting, expressions..

i kinda see your point... i too watch so you think you can dance, Dancing with the stars (america) and in terms of dance, they are more authentic and accurate, Latin-ballroom, Salsa, Tango is like classical dances of the West.. but given the material, concept and theme the contestants were given, i think sushant and shampa did outstanding and that as a perfromance, it was a whole package.. thats why they got a perfect score.
Again, we have to lay the blame on the JDJ creative team, that comes up with these concepts.
but adaptation is again subjective and dance is all about interpretation...
authentic latin-ballroom, salsa, tango maybe too sexy for indian audiences.. so toning down is important too..
i remember, in so you think you can dance, there was someone ( i think she/he was white) who did dance on bollywood song.. so when cultures are becoming aware one another latin-ballroom, etc on bollywood songs is bound to happen....
also if was restricted to only bollywood dances then whole thing becomes too boring and repetitve..
so in my opnion, i liked the mixing of bollywood beats to the western style dancing and sushant/shampa were the best in terms of the whole package.....

i beg to differ, i think shampa did a great job with the choreography....and sushant performed really well......see we should always keep in mind that this competition is between the celebs, although some took dance lessons before, none of them r professional dancers and they dont get to rehearse 24*7, they work all day long and somehow squeeze in time for rehearsals......according to me, the movies were smooth and apt...

I have to disagree.....I thought the concept was superbbbb....haven't seen it in any other Indian dance reality show so far and I'm sure it will be copied in the future in some other show.....lol

And the execution was excellent as well....to me the act actually started from the "ronde hai" bit.....everything from that point onwards was goosebumps inducing....the theatrical effect with the way they used the camera to create a whole movie like feel in those few minutes....the horror was brought out brilliantly....especially loved the idea of showing how she is trying to kill him while keeping the dance bits intact....the co-ordination in those bits was superb I felt....the way he'd jerk or fall in the exact moments when she'd attack him....they were so perfectly in tune throughout the act.....that is what enhanced it.

I feel the perfect score of 30 was given to them for the overall package......the fantastic concept, the dancing, the acting, the overall presentation....it all came together perfectly.....hence the perfect score.....I've see on DID many times an act is rewarded and praised with hardly any dancing in it.....that was not the case here.....they had a lot of dance while keeping the essence of the theme intact....and I loved that.

the act wasn't brilliant but it was good nevertheless...i found it to be better than all the other performances of this season(haven't watched the previous seasons)..the concept was something new..a never seen before one...Shampa did great work with the choreography and i didn't feel that the song was anywhere out of place...it suited the concept perfectly..
i am not a Sushant fan..not even a teeny-weeny bit but have to say his lines were really clear..
and as for Shampa..as PimpJuice said..it shows that she has been trained under Terence...she's a good storyteller..

but if you compare this performance to the onces at various other shows and channels...i will agree that this wasn't the perfect performance...we have had better than this...but then again..that won't be fair..the levels are different...the audiences are different..and we shudn't be comparing the two..

so i wud say...if the performance is being talked about at JDJ level...its been the best so a deserving 30...but if its being talked about at a higher level...it could be much better..
