Oh, come on Madhuri has a pretty Indian accent, all she does is emphasizes on the first syllable when saying 'dance'😆 Although, I was pretty confused when she said 'solid' when commenting on Daya's performance...it came out as 'saalid'....so was she trying to say it in an American accent or was it how you would say it in Haryanvi accent😕😆

This happens when u lived half of ur life in India (Asia) and rest in USA.

Since I pretty much grew up in USA, I don't. But both my parents does too. I don't blame Mads 😛

Madhuri, her normal english(w/o accent) is really gud, however after she got married,came the accent n its highly irritating...Katrina...atleast wish she doesn't get tat accent of hers while speaking Hindi..

so madhuri is being panned because she doesn't know marathi too well? I know alot of people who are born in a certain culture and yet are not too familiar with their own language. alot of punjabis don't know punjabi, alot of bengalis don't know bengali that well either. I'm a half punjabi myself and am a billion light years away from the language. how does that even matter?

She has asked only a couple of ques. in marathi "Kashi ahes Renuka" , "konachi hichki lagli tula? " , any non-maharashtrian can ask this 😃. So lets wait n watch 😆

Ok I can't comment on the whole Marathi bit at all but about the English here goes:
Look I like Madhuri a lot. In fact she's possibly the only Indian actress that I do like, however yes I did notice her 'accent'. Honestly speaking it sounds fake, and at least I don't find it genuine. Plus her constant slips into an American and then an Indian accent show the dubiousness...

About Katrina: I actually didn't detect any Indian accent in her English. Of course I didn't pay much attention to her so I can't say this for sure but whenever I have heard her speak it pretty much sounds like a Brit accent.

Yup, Maduri's acccent does seem really fake. Her hindi and english both sound really weird, hopefully her stay in India will help her hindi become better. I love Maduri Dixit but her accent does sound fake.
