It seems like the judges gave her preference, did she deserve it?? Goodness gracious, was she even dancing?? Very cheap and unfair to other contestants.Judges are incompetent!

Yeah, they were partial to her. And that wasnt fair. Honestly speaking, I don't think even Shekhar Suman deserved those marks and a standing ovation.

I love Renuka's partner, he's so good, even with Sandhya previously, how I wish he had a good dance partner.

I mean, she's a nice person and all, but this is a dance show. Let's get that straight.

Yeah they were very partial towards her. Yes she has a lot of weight and has never ever danced or whatsoever, but that doesn't mean the judges should give her more marks for her "effort".

If this show is about "effort" then all the other contestants should also get more marks, because they put in a lot of effort. No one participated in the show for timepass.

Renuka's dance's choreography was awesome, actually. Jay is a great choreographer. I've seen him in DID and DIDLM. Like Arushi, I also wish he got a better partner.

This is a dance show, and by far not one of the contestants have done performance good enough to earn a standing ovation. Eg: Shekhar Suman.

Quite often in JDJ, (even in the past seasons) the judges have shown biasedness towards seniors, people with a lot of weight and people who have "never before danced in their life".

i agree with u all...i honestly hated her performance...i understand she is new and all but then she should have gotten the correct comments...just b/c she worked with Madhuri doesnt mean that she should get praise that she hasnt earned...i really like Sushant's performance yet his marks were kind of low...the judges are biased from the very 1st episode

The one who partnered Sandhya was Javed and this guy is Jai from Dance India Dance.

I think I am the only one who will disagree here...lol...I liked her performance... Jai did a good job...and choreographed the sequence keeping in mind renuka's weaknesses... I thought it was cute!

I think the choreography was nice, and she tried hard. She won't continue to get marks for simply trying, but for the first episode, judges often rate the effort more than expertise. None of the other dancers (yesterday at least) hit the ball out of the park. Some were good, like Sushant, but still had mistakes. If there had been someone like Shweta Salve of the first season, they would have got great marks, otherwise I always feel the judges are a bit kanjoos with trained people on the first day. It will even out later, don't worry.

Oh I have to agree with you. I didn't think Renukas performance was on par with the other contestants performances, yet she walked away with the second highest score of a 24. In front of that, I think Sushant did a better job, but thats my opinion.

I think Renuka got brownie points cause she's overweight and for a women of her age to dance is something. But I disagree with that. I think the judges gave her way too much appreciation because of that fact. Yes, she did good, but not so good in front of others. Jay did a good job no doubt.

nah ur not the only one. i'm with ya lolz. and this Tm seems to keep creating bashing topics. I mean yes they were mayb impartial but it cud have been said in a nicer way.
