No, Di, I too didn't watch JDJ before. Just only this time and that too only for Daya Sir😳. And for previous seasons, when promo came, just then I came to know who are taking part. And that's way, I knew about Ram Kapoor taking part. I am confirmed about the season from youtube videos while watching Daya Sir's promos😛.
