If anyone remembers there was a reality show named "Mission Ustaad" used to come on 9X Channel. The show featured 8 well known singers like Roop Kumar Rathod, Mohit Chauhan( Silk Route fame...also the singer of "Tumse Hi" from JVM...Everyone must be knowing him) competing against each other. They had to compose as well as sing those songs. The show was judged by Javed Akhtar , A.R Rehman and Lara Dutta.
Now , I was thinking why not a similar concept with bollywood choreographers. I mean we'll get to know the best choreographer and he/she will be awarded for his/her talent.
I would like these choreographers to perform dance forms like Hip hop, B-boy, Popping, Locking, R&B, Krump, Freestyle, C-Walking, Pole dancing, Table-top dancing, Lap dancing, Lindy hop etc etc.
Saroj ji can also participate.... so what if she's old now.... so was Mohinder Amarnath...still he was competing. And so what if she's a fatty....so was Ram Kapoor. She still have an advantage....Atleast she's a choreographer ... when contestants who were non-dancers can learn the steps and perform in a week's time...then Saroj ji can also perform on the above mentioned dance forms.
But i guess these days there are numerous choreographers who'll do much better than the ones we know.
No offence to any Saroj ji's fans. In my post Saroj ji was just an example.
So whoz the choreographer you would like to see from bollywood and also the dance forms you would like them to perform.
