Prop ups!!!! Performances- 27/03/09

Hey guys,

OOOhhhh!!!!!Even my FFs, the result of my endless thinking, sweating and never-ending typing, didn't get so much response at one go as I am getting here, Thank you guys, you can imagine me doing a big gentlemanly bow (Just go back to some old English films)!!! I am generating quite a few waves…I am loving it. Tada...Ta…Ta…!!!!!! (Mc Donald's tune)

Today's theme was to use various props; everybody fairly did a nice job!!!

As usual the comments were fika, judges were thanda…I don't even want to waste time on talking about them, I felt so bad with what SK did, I don't think she at all deserves being called 'the dancing maestro', the respect I had for her has degraded…she should not have changed her marks…that was insulting…

Shweta's pinky dress was a fashion disaster!!!! Shiv, I didn't notice that lost brother of orangutan, I was toooooooo busy drooooooooooooooling over my s**y Dostana couple!!!

Starting off with the performances…I might go in detail and technicalities…

1. Shilpa – A steep fall from a perfect 30 to an imperfect. She was not good, missed steps, I thought the choreography was bad too…they were just jumping around, I didn't find any concrete steps…20

2. Parul – She looked really nice in her sky blue dress…I thought she deserved a perfect 30, she was brilliant, I always thought Deepak was very good with freestyle, even prachi's freestyle was brilliant…I want that teddy…it was so cute…papa…29

3. Hard – The starting was fantabulous, she was looking quite lady like, I hate her hair though. But I had a problem with her bent knees… 26

4. Monica – I had seen her practicing two days ago and thought that the steps were very good, she was very good, a lot more graceful and her emotions were nice. Monica a big cuddly hug from me, never loose hope my dear, jaan hain jahaan hain…30

5. Gauhar - It was a power packed performance. There was a lot of zeal and vigor. The song is such that you can't help but tap your feet and bhangra is a peppy dance. I have done bhangra, correct me if I am wrong the girl doesn't do the step of going round on the feet… gauhar was smiling for a change…and the nagada step was looking vulgar, I tell you… 26

6. Ram – Poor him, went through a personal loss, suffered a serious injury but still came on and performed with full energy. That shows how committed and dedicated he is, and that's worth learning and therein lies the beauty of a true performing artist, it's a very rare quality to find now a days. Ram, a standing ovation for your spirit. First of all, he looked way toooooooo cute in that dress and the golden cap only added to his handsomeness. He was very good, superb, I loved the steps and that laid-back attitude suited the hip-hop style. Buddy keep going, you are rocking. 26

7. Karan – Karan was really looking handsome. Nicole simply blew me away; she was looking like a princess of some fairy land a la Alice in Wonderland. I can understand why shraddha is going green with envy. They make a divine pair. Their concept was really touching, they certainly deserved more marks. 23

8. Bhaichung – I can't believe he got 30, miracles do happen it seems. I agree the choreography was brilliant but dance is not only about moving your limbs, expressions matter a lot and he had none, the problem is his eyes are way too small, so he can't emote properly…but the dance was very impressive…except I felt a few steps were repeating…the tight hug step…

9. Mohinderji – He was really looking cute in his ganji, his dance was okay, and there was no practical proper movement. His efforts should be appreciated…23

My bottom two would be mohinderji for sure, I can't take another name. Marks wise it can be shilpa; she is not that popular also. The competition is getting stiffer… and its difficult to pin point, probably Ramji could gaze into the crystal ball and tell us…

But as far as I my calculations go, none of the television stars are going out unless they score really less, the TRPS are already low, the channel can't afford to pull out the only three people for whom most people are watching. Gauhar is unlikely to go, her tears are so very important to keep the show going, can't say though. Shilpa is too simple and her USP doesn't work for the show, she might be leaving. But I would prefer Mohinderji to say good bye!!!!

P.S.: Next week I am going out of station, on a break after a long time, so I won't be able to update for the next two performances. Sorry guys, Awww I will miss you people!!! If Ram stays you can expect an update or else Alvida…there will be nothing interesting left…!!!!
