its really sad coz i like bhagyashree since meine pyar kiya n tobby is ofcourse a brilliant choreographer....btu m still waitin for karan's todays performance

They have changed the procedure this year. Today is elimination episode for girls. Boys will perform next week.

well she was never going to win how they showed her in the first episode and some people despite their bad aka non performance last week due to popualrity are still safe...and more than likely will win am glad atleast they never kept her in more weeks to get her bashed

So let me get this straight.

Bhagyashree and Shilpa both got the lowest votes but then they had to do a "dance-off" and the judges picked who was safe?

Thats a new thing. Last year whoever got lowest votes was voted out and they didnt get a second chance to prove themselves.

I was expecting Shilpa to get the bye-bye, thanks to the judges comments yesterday. However, it was good to see that Vaibahi and Juhi saved her, because Shilpa and Nishant seem much more creative than Bhagayshree/Toby. Shilpa has been the least talked about contestant on the show, but I hope as she gets more time to show her personality and dance, the audience will warm upto her.

I wasn't really expecting Bhagyashree to be elmininated...I thought Shilpa would go because of the comments, but I guess not.

Thank you so much Shruti for this link. Bhagyashree was one of my favorites and I am so sad to read that she was the first one to be eliminated. I wish her well

I liked how she handled the elimination....very gracefully and with a smile on her face. I thought that was sweet :-) And I liked the friendship b/w her and Shilpa.

I have to admit, I was a little disappointed to see Bhagyashree go...mainly because we haven't seen her in the past so many years. Visually...it was a treat to see that a woman who had settled into a married life had maintained herself rather well. And I did love quite a bit as Suman (also loved the then Salman, but that's a different topic).

I also thought she had a lot of scope for improvement and would do well. Of all the female participants...I would have wanted to see Gauhar go (so much nakhra and drama!) though I would have been disappointed to see Hanif go then (he's a brilliant dancer, all else aside). Or Monica.. I wouldn't really miss her. Not to mention her performance was such a copy...no originality in form even. I expected better of her choreographer - he was brilliant with Sandhya last season. At least with Bhagyashree it was a different form of dancing. For the moment I will console myself with the thought that there will be a wildcard round eventually.

That has to have been the most graceful exit ever made by an eliminated participant on any show. Her first reaction was to applaud for her competitor. Not a single tear was shed, nor a bitter word spoken against the judgement. All this talk about her attitude...she rubbished it all by the way she conducted herself after being eliminated.

Now I can't wait to see who is eliminated in the next episode...any guesses?
