Thank you for the courage you showed in being so versatile even though there was always a chance that you may not succeed because it was out of your comfort zone. Handling a show where you are the lead and handling a dance competition such as this was not easy. Yet you did it.

Good looks can take you only so far. If Gurmeet is so well loved and have had such a fan following for so many years it is because they love him beyond his looks, they love him for his talent and for the human being he is. More than anything that is what has amazed me on his Jhalak journey that he never once complained: not when he got low scores, not when he was injured, not when his choreographer was injured, not when people threw at him that he was here because of his popularity. He took it all in his stride. There may have been better dancers but he truly came out on the top for the way he handled everything with so much humility and dignity and for his never say die attitude.

A very deserving win. Congratulations!!! You have made so many people proud.
