I understand what you are trying to say, but can someone explain to me what the veto power actually means? I always assumed it was that if a contestant gets eliminated, or is unable to perform one week they get reinstated in the competition.

From what I have understood, judges can use a Veto power to keep a deserving contestant from being eliminated. 1st week, she didn't perform, she was saved by votes. 2nd week, Veto was used by Judges to keep her in the show. This is the only time veto is used.

Double elimination or no elimination is up to the channels and not judges, as far as I know. So that is definitely not the use of Veto power by judges, for those who seem to have this misconception.

Anyways, from what I can see, judges have only used Veto once to save Isha, a deserving contestant as per them, from elimination. And Veto was introduced last season when Sushant had gone through similar phase (not saying same, so no pouncing please), thus it has become the format of the show just like Wild card.

P.S: This is solely my interpretation from the facts and observations seen on JDJ this season.

that day karan and isha was bottom...i think so...

isha cant dance...so ask for votes...okke agreed this the same thing happnd with sushanth...

both were saved by the public...chanel says sooo...

next week sushant performed...but not isha...again veto...entry to semifinal...

semifinal week again veto..okey dont perform today..u only perform tomorrow...

isha is excellent dancer...but will u accept the same veto if it has given to darsheel or shibani...

If you are a contestant...you HAVE to perform...no matter what...ot quit...
Excuses are not considered...

Dont we see this in every other competition we take part in...???? to they excuse us for being ill, injured...whatever the reason is...even if we are good dancer...it becomes unfair to others...

Abt wild card contestants..they are fair at their place...were not excused for any performances...performed in every given round...
Its channel's decision to give the chance...they did not come and say plz excuse me and give us a chance to perform in JDJ..!!!

Being there and not performing is wrong in an rulebook..how much harsh it look..or else you have to quit!!!!

Telling them not to perform, it isn't veto because they get 0/30 for that act. Anyways, no point in arguing cuz I will stick to my definition of veto from what I have seen on JDJ and you can stick with yours. It isn't like it will make any difference. Judges or channels with do what they want to end of the day. You wanna call it unfair, be it that way, cuz for me there are so many unfair things which has happened. I simply do not neglect all while singling out one.

P.S: I don't know why people even like discussing this over and over when they know Isha has quit. Give it a rest. Rest up to you all.

u only took sushant's example that's y i said that...last time veto was that...dont perform but u can be saved by ur fans...

without performance isha has been saved...

but now judges(karan) have other problem tooo...GC is being saved by fans...😆

anyways when gia was out bhavya was after me wherever i post...after that..salman girl with 2-3 posts about isha...now u...

I clearly wasn't after you. I was merely replying "Arhi" who had a question about Veto and you mentioned couple points, so I included them in the same post for that member.

But then you used my name, so I am guessing that post was meant to be for me. So technically you tagged me in the post and I simply replied to your concerns.

Its twice judges/channel have been UNFAIR.

First week of injury , Isha got a 0 out of 60 when she did not perform . The next week she didn't come even in bottom 2 !!! Viewers were said to have given overwhelming votes which is not feasible that could cover up for 60 points . Off course that was a LIE !! and it was channel's manipulation.

Second week of injury, she got a Veto.

Third week of injury(this week) she will perform once . Yet Im sure , next week she will be thru to the finals.

So Isha's case is UNFAIR but WC is NOT.

Thanks for confirming that the show is scripted. Even I think it is a big fat lie when it comes to votes, same when it came to keeping Bharti in the show week after week for poor performances especially when she isn't even that popular. Definitely Channel's manipulation. Right on par.

@red: I still think if WC is fair then veto is fair and vice verse. Both of them can't be on different levels since it is a format of the show.

As far as I remember , it was NOT announced at the beginning of the show that there WOULD BE 1 VETO power for the judges. Pls correct me if I'm wrong. In other shows they announce in the beginning .
