it might be unfair if any WC entry wins or isha wins without giving performance for two weeks...but if we follow this logic only gurmeet and bharti will remain who are least deserving than the 3 others...so despite everything i would want the best dancer win ;that are isha and rithvik...

rashmi is also a great dancer but my personal preference is those two...

exjectaly ...if there r many thing which is unfair then y only pick esha , pick evry body want ritik to win ...awesome dancer

WIth Jhalak, I have learned to expect the unexpected. In the past I would have NEVER thought that people like Chang, Bhaichung or Prachi or even Mona for that matter would end up winning.
Prachi and Mona's win shows that popularity does have a huge part but at the same time...Chang and Bhaichung's win show an opposite trend, in both Chang and Bhaichungs seasons they had some pretty popular contestants who they managed to beat and win the title.
So its very confusing.
But, I would say Gurmeet is going to win. He has the popularity of Mona and Prachi and the non-dancer tag that Chang and Bhaichung would have. Plus in the middle of the competition he gave a quite a number of performances that scored 30. Im about 90% sure that Gurmeet is going to win.
As for the others:
Rashmi- I dont think Rashmi is winning because she has won other dance reality shows, her partner Deepak has already been a winner and I just dont see it. Plus she's not a "non-dancer" So I doubt she can win. She has come in the bottom as well
Rithvik - He's good yes, but I dont feel that he has a journey or story to tell like some of the others. He's been good since Day-1. But if he wins, its not going to be inspirational.
Isha- I really dont know about her. Shes the best dancer on the show, but shes not going to win simply because...well..she cant. She isnt a non-dancer and its against the format of a show for a trained dancer to win. They can participate, but they cannot win!.
Bharti- I think Bharti has a ZERO chance of winning, but in terms of being an inspriation and having an unexpected winner she would probably have the best "story" and the best choice for that. Again, in order for Bharti to win she would have to have a sudden miraculous growth and improvement. Its possible...its happened with Chang and Bhaichung. However I DOUBT it.
I have a hard time thinking of whose goign to go into the Top 3. All I can say is I am 100% Gurmeet is going to be in the finals and probably one wildcard contestant and then either Isha or Bharti.

@DIDfan89:

What you say makes a lot of sense.

It's indeed confusing who has the best chance to win.

It looks like an open field at one point and a done deed at another.

So far, going by JDJ's track record, it's always the underdog who wins and that itself is inspirational...since that's what JDJ is all about.

Yet, it's really sad to see good and great dancers biting the dust when they should holding the trophy aloft!

I still don't get why a wild card entry can't win either...ok, they start late at the races and are fresh and full of energy in one sense..yet, if we look at it from a different perspective, they've had less of training that the others would have had...so, they are the underdogs in a way.

Whatever, if it's an unwritten rule that only non-dancers should win, then, they should choose only non-dancers as contestants and decide who the best dancer is amongst them...and not take in trained dancers at all.

Exactly, deserving candidate don't usually end up winning. From what I heard, Chang was quite good with his choreographer at least better than GC, who seems to have a huge shot at winning. I could be wrong since I didn't follow the season.

Prachi and Mona's win shows that popularity does have a huge part but at the same time...Chang and Bhaichung's win show an opposite trend, in both Chang and Bhaichungs seasons they had some pretty popular contestants who they managed to beat and win the title. May be cuz the format of the show was changed last season and votes didn't make someone winner.
So its very confusing.
But, I would say Gurmeet is going to win. He has the popularity of Mona and Prachi and the non-dancer tag that Chang and Bhaichung would have. Plus in the middle of the competition he gave a quite a number of performances that scored 30. Im about 90% sure that Gurmeet is going to win.I agree, but the only thing that's confusing is if GC has a face off in the finale with one of the good dancers, Isha, Rashmi or Rithvik, then I wouldn't know how can he end up winning unless the opposite contestant mess up big time.
As for the others:
Rashmi- I dont think Rashmi is winning because she has won other dance reality shows, her partner Deepak has already been a winner and I just dont see it. Plus she's not a "non-dancer" So I doubt she can win. She has come in the bottom as well A very good point about Deepak already being the winning choreographer. So it would make sense for her to not win if we go by that assumption, but that sole reason for not winning seems bizarre.
Rithvik - He's good yes, but I dont feel that he has a journey or story to tell like some of the others. He's been good since Day-1. But if he wins, its not going to be inspirational. Other than dancing, he lacks in other fields to be termed exceptional candidate
Isha- I really dont know about her. Shes the best dancer on the show, but shes not going to win simply because...well..she cant. She isnt a non-dancer and its against the format of a show for a trained dancer to win. They can participate, but they cannot win!. I agree, she being a good dancer puts her in favor and against of her winning. And unfortunately her injury seems to be the biggest obstacle towards her preceding to the finale.
However I DOUBT it.Inspirational and out of the box winner, may be. But I hope she doesn't win simply cuz compared to others, she hasn't excelled in any of the fields a winner should be good at.
I have a hard time thinking of whose goign to go into the Top 3. All I can say is I am 100% Gurmeet is going to be in the finals and probably one wildcard contestant and then either Isha or Bharti. Seems quite plausible

I liked your theory for each contestants, quite possible for them to come true.

I would rather just want to state who my Choice for the winner would be and why.

My choice of the winner would be Rashmi Desai Sandhu. Excellent choice 😃 If she wouldn't have been a WC entry into JDJ then my choice for winner would be Isha Sharvani but as Rashmi is a part of this or rather from the time she is a part of this show I just and just want her to win. If not her then i would also love seeing Isha, GC or Rithvik lifting the trophy.

Why Rashmi-?
Rashmi is my choice for the winner because of just one very simple reason- She is the best dancer in the show..According to me. I love everything about her dance.Ranging from expressions to hand movements to leg movements to fluidity to those beautifully pointed hands and legs to those "i say a 100 words" eye movements to just everything. She is just the PERFECT dancer. For me she is the Next Best dancer that Indian Television has after Shweta Salve,Mouni Roy and Sayantani Ghosh. I also love her for the fact that she very wonderfully carries all the dance forms with just not "big" or "noticable" flaw. What I have seen in JDJ is that one contestant lacks one thing then the other lacks another , No one is just perfect but for me Rashmi is that one contestant who is just perfect for winning this show. And also, she has shown a wonderful amount of consistency in her performances as she has maintained a level ( till now) and has not shown a deep fall in her marks.

So Yeah! For me its Rashmi👍🏼

Wow you are really smitten by Rashmi's dancing, and not your fault at all. She is a very graceful dancer, I don't know if you followed her in Zara Nachke DIkha, but she was exceptional even there. Her expressions to me are her biggest strength and a weakness to an extend. For me sometimes her expressions get more emphasis than her dancing. So basically they overshadow her dancing skills. All in all, it'll still be a treat to watch her reach the finale.

P.S: I don't know about other dancers, but I used to admire Shweta Salve in season 1 as well, she is an absolutely fab dancer and it was worth watching that season for her.

I have never seen you give out much reasoning as to why you want to see him as a winner other than being his fan. So it will be nice to read your reasons for a change if you are up to it. Or good luck to you and him for the show.
