So this is my first post in the jhalak forum this season, and I was just thing what you all thought about the different challenges given to the contestants...

This is what I feel

Raviji and Pratyusha -their challenege is to dance while a live singer is singing...now I don't think this is such a hard challenge compared to say Darsheel who has to do an illusion act, for one he has to learn the illusions and then secondly has to learn dance with it too.
Gurmeet's challenge is quite difficult aswell, he can't use his hands so I am intrested to see what Shampa and Gurmmet will come up with.

Giaa again a good one becuase I don't remember Nishant choreographing an ariel act before.

Jayati ji-dancing with heels? um did she not dance with heels when she did tap dancing? or does that not count?😕

Shibani-I have seen such acts before where a wall is in-between the dancers but I think it is a good challenge for Shibani because now she will be dancing by herself and we will get to see how her co-ordination is and how well she can do without puneet by her side.

finally coming to Ishaa and Bharti...I think its unfair that they get celebs while the others donot..last season was better when each partcipant got a celeb to dance with. and why does Bharti get tushaar...i mean ok he is not as popular as say Shahid kapoor but he is a very well known face...
and Karnvir is such a good dancer I have seen him in Nach Baliye and kabhi pyar kabhi yaar both dance reality shows...so how are these two challenges... compared to Darsheel,Gurmeet and even Susheel (where only one can dance and the other can't)

imo I think Darsheel probs has the most difficult challenge along with Gurmeet.
And before anyone bashes me, I am supporting Giaa and Darsheel.

I'm just giving my thoughts and not bashing any contestant or their fans im just talking about the challenges and not the contestants as such. Intially I was quite apprehensive of coming to the forum and making this topic because I have been reading other topics and I just felt that people get angry if someone gives a view against a contestant...
why can't people just have a healthy discussion instead of arguing with each other?

anyway enough of that!😆...Please feel free to share your views...

Agreed!! It very unfair to the other contestants when one team gets a third person who is known to be a good dancer. That did not sit very well with me too. Dunno on what basis will they be judged??

They should have been given props or some other challenge altogether.

Good topic!
Here is what I think:
Toughest Challenge is given to the weakest dancer - Sushil Singh - Why?? To ensure his way out this time surely? This guy as such finds it tough to coordinate easy steps with his partner - How will he coordinate alternate Sit and Stand coordination?? I wonder
Easiest Challenge is given to the strongest dancer - I mean - teen ka tadka can become a strength when the 3rd guy is as strong as Karanveer Vohra
I also think that Bharti, Pratyusha and Ravi are given pretty easy challenges as well - Live band dancing is easy.. In fact, even if the dancers miss the beat - the band can actually alter themselves to catch the beat again...
The other tough challenges are given to Darsheel, Gurmeet and Shibani in my opinion... Jai has to make good use of lights to create the illusion with the silver ball.. and Darsheel needs to show good flexibility of body with Avneet to do that well...
To create a good dance aura with tied hands can be quite a challenge.. and I am not sure if it means that both Gurmeet and Shampa will have their hands tied or only Gurmeet.. Else Shampa can cover this up with her intelligent coreography..
Partition dancing may not be uncommon but is still tough in terms of coordination - and will require lot of effort and practice... but knowwing Shibani - I think she can it through though...
Ariel dancing - well not too sure how Gia will do it.. I would have loved Shibani do it though... I think she would have done it in style and grace...
Dancing on high heels - again not at the same level of difficulty if considered on its own - but can be tough for heavy folks like Jayati.,, and if Jayati was given it, why was Bharti not given the same again?
Overall - Again a confusing and unequal set of challenges from the judges... Needed to be more unbiased with this!

I'm waiting to see what you can throw at me Shampa. Gurmeet will hopefully prove his detractors wrong. To me he did a fantastic job as a robot, so I'm really fancying his chances at the top 3.

Aye haye beta, phir se pakad gaye.. mujhe lagta hai - you have an obsession with him - jitna shayad uske fans ko bhi nahi hai. I'd written a HUGE post, and even Gurmeet's para had 2 lines on him and more on Shampa - and you caught on that one word.

Coming to your point, detractors (acc to me) just means, taking away from someone's fame, effort etc. How is this same as fanatics? Honestly I don't find anything wrong with Pankha. I'm a HUGE pankha of Shampa and Isha. Im not insulted. Call me a fanatic and I will be.

If I don't call people who are not very fond of Gurmeet, his detractors, what do I call them? Err - anti-Gurmeet? Gurmeet's dislikers? Gurmeeno (Gurmeet+No) 😆?

detractors: (noun) "A person who disparages someone or something"
I'm not seeing anything wrong with that word and the context is respectful. No one said "fanatic" and "pankha" is not allowed, it's how you phrase your sentence - be respectful and nothing will be edited/deleted.

So, Fanatic and Pankha is allowed... I hope this rule will not change after few minutes... You made the day for all fanatics... I was thinking to file a law suite against DT for bannning fanatic word.👏👏

It will be interesting to see how Salman will choreograph. So far in tadka he had 2 girls and lifted them together. In DID he lifted Khushboo and her sister, last year he lifted Yana and Toasti. I am not sure if he will lift Karanvir and Isha this time. Waiting for next week episode.

it has happened before u came here

and if u say it now so means we r allowed to use these words ????? 😛

see its not bashing to call anyone pankha ...pankha is a hindi translation of Fan ... so when we say those fans , instead we say those Pankhas or pankhi for female ... its not bashing right ????? but we r being told not to use it bcz GC fans ( if i use Pankha here instead of Fan, thats not bashing , right ??? ) report it

they even report when we use the word fanatic ...someone use fanatic ...when there is too much of fangiri right ? in bollywood forum pankha and fanatic r the most common words ... so when someone says those fanatics thats not bashing right ???? bcz in this forum i m totally confused abt what is considered bashing and what not ...here even those things come under bashing which we use to have fun in other forums , everyone takes those lightly ...

Pleasekeep away from using such terms in future.

frm no way above post was a Bashing or disrespectful ... bcz if its a disrespectful then all those members need a WL increased who bullied me in my thread which is closed now 😉

( anyways this quote was just to show u that we r banned to use it ...and right now not able to find the post where we were banned to use Pankha and many other words )

in forums u just can't follow bookish language all the time and political correct words ... we all come here to discuss and to have fun ... if something is just a joke for someone , for other one its bashing ... like now u said its totally fine to use such words ( actually these two r just examples , we r being restricted to use lots of other words too just bcz GC fans report those ) ... fans will report each and every post and its mod's duty to look at which report is valid or not , tanni was alone before , there was so much pressure on her but now we have 3 mods and i expect better solution of all baseless reports 😃

for example i took the meaning of detractors as

detract (d-trkt)
v. detracted, detracting, detracts
v.tr.
1. To draw or take away; divert
2. Archaic To speak ill of; belittle.
To reduce the value, importance, or quality of something

bcz this is how i wanted it ...just to show if we can be banned to use simple words just on the name of Bashing and respect ...WE can also do the same

frm now i m gonna use Pankha, pankhi , fanatics , Gurooo 😃 ... hope no one will have problem frm now
