@purva: It is not as simple as remember of forgetting what you have learned. I can see that Jayatiji is a trained dancer because of her mannerisms and the way she carries herself on stage. Those are things you don't forget, how to dance, basically. BUT it is true that even though you may remember what to do and how to do it, your body will simply not respond as easily if you are out of practice. Technical perfection can come from practice and practice alone and Isha is in such top form, because she practices pretty much all day, dance being her job, that her body does her bidding with almost no effort. So when Isha and Salman put in the same effort the other contestants are putting in, the results will naturally be leagues better, because they don't have to work on getting her into form in the first place.
Yes their body might not respond immediately but a week of practice can surely help brush up the previous training. GC trains in martial art.. won't that help him in dancing? Darsheel trains under Shaimak Dawar.. is that not an advantage? So tell me why it's not unfair to Susheel and Talat.. it's the same logic you are applying to Isha afterall..
The issue is not with finding perfectly matched contestants, but if you see now, all the contestants are at least comparable in their dance experience and presentation, each with advantages and disadvantages, while Isha is on a level of her own, with no disadvantages in comparison. The rest are of a level where they are legitimately competing with each other, while Isha really has no competition. Her consistent 30s reflect that the judges are in no real position to judge her because she is well above and beyond their scale and capacity for judgment.
That is what you are saying.. but if I apply your own logic here.. some people have double advantage according to me.. for example GC has previous dance and martial arts training and also huge vote bank.. Talat, Susheel and Archana had neither. So how are they comparable??
Don't get me wrong, I am thrilled that people are getting to see the calibre of performers out there, but I fail to see her place in the competition; she is simply not competing with the rest. Why not. She has talent and worked really hard to reach where she is today. It's not her fault that she is a gifted artist. By this logic.. any gifted artist should never be allowed to participate in any competition.. how unfair would that be
If you think Isha's training is comparable to that of Jayati, GC, Pratyusha, Darsheel, then you are really insulting her life's work by reducing it to the equivalent of a few classes a week or a hobby, pursued alongside a "real job." Unlike the other contestants, dancing is Isha's "real job," and it makes a huge difference to the way her performances come out.Nope.. I definitely don't think Isha's talent is comparable to others.. for that matter I think none of them are comparable with each other.. but I have absolutely no issue with it. Because I can see how difficult it will be for makers to make it fair for everyone.. specially a show which uses public voting as a criteria for eliminating the contestants which itself is unfair and biased method of judgement
