The under wraps party
How old have you turned Sameer? "18 till I die," Sameer Soni laughs. The actor won't let on about his age, but he does tell about the party his closest friends – Mandira Bedi, Shonali Malhotra Soni, Vikram Acharya, Rohit Roy, and Sudhanshu Pande – threw him at Mangiferra on Wednesday. "All they said was that I should keep myself free on Wednesday (it was a day before my birthday) and when I got to the restaurant there were around 15-16 of my friends. It was very emotional… I last celebrated my birthday with a party like this eight years ago. And what did you do on your birthday? "Slept. And recovered from the party of the day before." His most exciting gift? "I can't tell you that…," he chuckles, "…but the flowers kept coming in. And my friends collectively got me a great Swatch watch I've been eyeing for a while. Then there were wines, among other gifts..." Wait, we can't focus. Our wicked minds are still on the packaging of that special gift he mentioned…whatever it was!
