If this is your first attempt, I think its a good one. You said that you didn't have that many scenes and that could have been part of the problem. If you had more scenes I am sure you would have been able to bring more variation. Also I am not sure if you go to finish your mix cause in the end the song keeps on playing but there is no video. My advice is that you keep working on mixes and you'll improve as you go on. Practice makes it perfect!
