The episode begins with Jassi with Arman and the lawyer signing some papers, it was regarding the insurance claim. The lawyer tells them that the amount was so big that it would take 4 months for them to get the claim amount. Both Jassi and Arman are shattered and troubled.
The gang are together , Bindiya tells them that she overheard Meenakshi and Jassi's converation. She tells them that meenakshi had offered her a contract , the gang are delighted but are sad when she tells them that Jassi refused to accept it . The gang wonder why she refused when they needed it the most, Bindiya cautions the gang to not ask Jassi abt it unless she tells them herself. Pari meanwhile has overheard the whole thing.
Jassi calls up Nandu to ask him if they had any funds available in Kohinoor , Nandu informs her that all the funds were on the market but he assures her that they would sort it out and arrange the money in a few weeks. Jassi tells him sadly that they dont have time , she also tells him abt the contract meenakshi offered her but she had refused it as she thought Meenakshi offered her the contract on Purab's request and she didnt want any favours. Nandu asks her to relax.
Purab meanwhile is sitting in his cabin, troubled thinking why Jassi hasnt called him yet . He thinks abt what meenakshi said abt ideal woman and Jassi's answer to it.
Pari tells Mallika abt what she heard, before she could finish,Mallik assumes that Jassi accepted the contract but is puzzled when Pari informs her that she had refused it . Mallika is furious that in such times when GM needed the contract, Jassi refused it. She is angry, she tells Pari that till now she thought that GM's problems were becoz of Jassi but now she was sure that Jassi herself was the bigest problem of GM. With that she stroms off to ask Arman abt it.
Mallika enters Arman's cabin only to find him sleeping in his chier. Mallika's anger melts off, she comes near Arman and wakes him up asking him why he was sleeping. Arman sadly tells her abt the money prblems they faced. Just then they hear someone clapping thier hands, its none other than Aryan . He taunts him saying that Arman wasnt fit to be the chairmnan, Aryan also tells him that his beloved Jassi was hell bent in destroying GM and he was doing nothing abt it. Arman is clueless and asks him to explain, Aryan tells him that he was only concerned abt GM , the same GM that their fathers had given it to them to run and he didnt want any Jassi to come out of nowhere and destry it by not accepting a contract when they needed it the most. Arman is shocked that Jassi didnt tell him abt the contract and refused it without consulting him. Aryan further taunts him by saying that Jassi didnt even consult him and why would she esp when she was the CEO and not him. Arman is furious, Mallika too tells Arman that Aryan was right and leaves angrily.
Jassi is talking on the phone with the supplier, who refuses to supply the materials telling her that he wont give any materials when GM refused to accept the contract. Jassi is shocked and before she could explain, the supplier ends the call. Just then Arman enters, Jassi starts telling him abt the suppliers call when Arman angrily asks her why she did this to him. Jassi is confused and asks him what , Arman once again asks him why she did this to him and why did she refuse the contract when she knew they needed that the most. Why didnt she consult him in such an iomportant decision and why the hell did she refuse it. Jassi explains that she cant use her personal life to get the contratc and she tells him that she knew tht they were getting the contract only coz of Purab and she didnt want that. Arman tells her angrily that he didnt care, he tells her that she may only have a few problems in her personal life by accepting the contract but it will help GM from doom. Jassi is shocked, she doesnt know what to do, she tries to suggest some other ideas, but Arman is in a daze and just walks off silently.
Purab is drunk comes back home, taking Jassi's name again and again. Meenakshi comes there, she asks Purab why he didnt trust her when they knew each other for so long. She assures him that whatever she was doing was only for their good and Jassi's good.
Arman comes back with the his, raj's and Puru's property papers and asks Jassi to arrange for loans. Jassi is shocked and sks him why he was doing all this and they would surely find another solution to arrange the money. She tels him that she has prepared a brokers list and if someone agrees to give them 1-2 crores they could lift the money from the market. Arman immediately stars calling the numbers but in vain, no one is ready to loan them the money. Both Arman and Jassi are shattered.
Outside, Jassi meets Nandu who asks him why she refused the contract. Jassi tells him that when the employees were ready to forego part of their salary, when Arman was ready to keep their property for money , why cant she forget her principles for once and accept the contract. She tells him that she has decided to accept the contract keeping her principles aside. Nandu nods in agreement. She decides to call Meenakshi.
Meenakshi calls up Purab and explains to him that she knew Jassi wouldnt accept the contract as her principles would never allow her to accept a contract through him. She also explains that Jassi's priority was her work and not him and thats why she said again and agian that she and Purad were not meant for each other. The episode ends on Purab's concerned face .
Comments:good episode, arman was sweet ready to keep his papers. Jassi was stubborn as always, on one hand she says she wants to keep her personal and professional life sepatrate and on the other hand refuses a contract coz of Purab , what is that then. Aryan was bang on target again when he tells Arman abt the contract and GM. Why the hell didnt Jassi consult Arman before refusing, c'mon its such a big contract for gods sake. Anyway get ready to see Purab fly away leaving a letter.
