JandA steer clear of discussing business after their face-off at the board meeting. Jassi works on her business proposal while Armaan concentrates on their new stores overseas.
When it is time to go home, Nandu barges into Jassi's cabin.
Nandu: Jassi, tujhe kaaam ke alava kuch aur bhi yaad hai?
Jassi: (busy at the computer) Seedhe-seedhe baat kar Nandu…mere paas paheliyan bujhaane ka time nahin hai…..
Nandu: (annoyed) Ya yun keh na ki tere paas teri best friend ke liye time nahin hai..!
Jassi sighs and closes down her laptop. "Sorry Nandu…..lagta hai aaj sab log mujhse naraaz hai!" 😔
Nandu: (trying to change the topic) Sab logon ka toh nahin pata, lekin agar tu mere saath nahin aayi toh main naraaz ho jaunga……..Jassi, meri engagement hui hai…..tumhe meri shaadi ki date fix karne mein koi interest nahin?
Jassi: (relaxing and grinning) Kyum…main teri mummy kab se ban gayi…ye kaam toh wo dekhengi na…..(slyly) ya tujhe unse kehte hue sharam aati hai?
Nandu: (going red) Mujhe unse kehne ki kya zaroorat…unhone khud hi aaj pandit ko bula liya hai…..date fix karne ke liye……😛
Jassi: (rising from her chair in delight) Kya!
Nandu: Haan……aur Bebe ne phone karke specially kahaa hai ki tujhe bhi aaj ghar pe hone hai…
She hugs him and says she will definitely come.
Meanwhile, Raj is pretty much playing the same "spend time with your best buddy" card with Armaan.
Raj: (plonking himself on a chair before Armaan) Dost dost na rahaa……
Armu: (sighing) Ab tujhe kya ho gaya?
Raj: Yaar, meri sagaai hui hai…lekin mere aur Neha ke alava shaayad kisi ko yeh baat yaad hi nahin hai….yaar kisi pandit ko bula, koi date-shate fix kar….aur jaldi, ok?
Armu: (allowing himself a laugh) Dekh mujhe toh inn cheezon ke baare mein kuch nahin pata….haan Mom ya Jassi yeh sab handle kar sakti hai…..
Raj: Speaking of Jassi…..tum logon ne uss plan ke baare mein koi baat ki?
Armu: Raj…..is waqt office hours khatam ho chuke hai….issliye hum business nahin discuss karenge….kyunki main nahin chahta ki Gulmohur ki problems, mere aur Jassi ke rishte ke beech aa jaye.👏
Raj nods thoughtfully.
Just then Jassi enters to tell Armaan that she won't be coming home as she has to go to Nandu's. Raj raises an eyebrow and asks if there is anything special. She tells him about the pandit.
Raj thinks, "Nandan Verma, tune meri engagement mein apni sagaai announce karke kaafi paise bachaye the na…..ab main tere panditji se apna kaam na nikalva lun, toh mera naam Raj Malhotra nahin!"😆
He says with utmost innocence, "That's great Jassi…..kyun na hum dono bhi chale…uske saare friends aur well-wishers😉 saath hone chahiye na…aakhir itna important kaam hai!"
Armaan looks sideways at him but Jassi is entirely innocent of his intentions. 😛Raj winks at Armu while she nods happily. They all set off towards the exit, Raj thinking gleefully of the surprise he is going to give Nandu. []:)]
