As you know Jassi is totally swept away by her Armaan sir and his total sweetness. Little does she know that this is all a drama so that Jassi doesn't go closer to Purab.

Do you think in the beginning, Jassi's "love" was love? Was it simply an infatuation because Armaan was so nice to her?

No Jassi, love for Armaan was no infatuation. It was an intriguing kind of love. She did have her doubts but as she was so trusting in her nature she believed and loved him.

Did Jassi really believe a man, so famous and good with the ladies loved her so soon?

No, she never believed that a man who was a casanova could ever love a girl like her but she loved her Armaan sir unconditionally. She knew that he trusted her and her only and that is a stepping stone to love.

What characteristics in Armaan made a simple girl like Jassi love a brat like Armaan?

His trust in her. He gave her that first chance. From day one he showed her that a girls looks didn't matter to him, but her ability and qualification did, even if it was being employed in a fashion house. she believed in his gut instincts. That changed her and she fell in love with him.

They say Jassi was so intelligent, why do you think she wasn't able to look beyond the barrier to see it was all a fake drama?

Her trusting nature. she took everybody at face value and for their word. Inspite of being very intelligent Jassi was very naive where love was concerned. She had never fallen in love and with the trust that her armaan sir had showered on her even with the occassional doubts she always trusted him blindly.

If Jassi had realized this, do you think she would've moved on to Purab? Or simply cried over her lost "love"

She did move on right. But her love for Armaan was true and true love does not make you forget the person you loved and move on. And secondly, nobody on the face of this earth forgets first love. And then she did realise a bit later that Armaan truly loved her, and her love for him was not so weak. All's well that ends well.

What are your views on Infatuation or Love in the story of JJKN?

I believe in true lasting love. Even if Armaan faked it in the beginning, I felt he was truly in love with Jassi and her simplicity. Had it not been so in the back of his mind, he would never have agreed to even fake it. but because in the back of his mind he loved Jassi and not to his knowledge, he faked the drama. There is love for everybody on this earth, it just a matter to find it.

Wow, lovely DOTW topic. I am a thorough romantic at heart and love JandA. I survived and started watching the re-runs only after the knowledge that JandA united. Had it not been so, I would never be here.
