whn people say that purab had o flaws the n idont agree with it he was selfish he saw his love before jassi's. he saw his happiness before jassi's. and he was hard core bussiness man also.the diff between armaan and purab was that armaan was impulsive and just did wht he felt like but purab was cool and calcultive. he went abt his way in planed way like arundhati's entry.

if he really loved jassi then he sld have tried to unite jassi and armaan as he always knew that jasi loved armaan. but he took advantage of the rift between jasi and armaan.whn u r in love u see the hppiness of the the one u love and it was armaan for jassi.post make over also he tried to creat rift between armaan and jassi.

He knew jassi loved Armaan and that made him insecure which I find pretty human but but Arundhati was Too much..Why not talk straight to jassi rather than act like her Godfather?

If armaan had a problem sooner or later he always impulsively screams it out in front of her..

My point he was seen as too much of a great guy..By not only his fans but Armaan Fans also.😆

& we are not talking about who is more good looking here 😛 We are talking about the point that why some people hate Purab-the character & not the actor Sameer. (you can view my first comment) So who is more good looking is out of question. I like Armaan more than Purab. When Sony people asked for our votes about who should marry Jassi-Purab or Armaan. I voted for Armaan(& here Purbians might disagree with me)because I knew that Jassi loved Armaan & not Purab. I have heard about that saying that we should marry who loves us,not whom we love. But love is blind. ye dil hai ki manta nahin! I know,what it is to lose the love of your life & the pain that comes with it. So I voted for Armaan,because Jassi loved him. But that does not mean, I should hate Purab. He was a good guy & a good friend. I only got angry at him,when he ditched Jassi & left her to face the music alone ( so he did have a big grey shade after all)

for me it was pretty badly done after they decided that purab will get engaged to jassi and then he abruptly turns out to be a bad guy... similarly armaan did an abrupt u turn and turned out to be the good guy...

i have wished a thousand times they had stuck to the original script... i would have loved to watch them in their original roles...

i agree that even the purab exit was abrupt executed..and the engagment of p-j..and again so was armaan turnaround. among other things like the whole jessica bedi story.i dnt know much abt Blf, so i cant comment abt original script.

some where above it was written that purab was the only person who could compete with armaan in looks money and status (dont remm exact words) therefore this comment abt the looks.

i use the word hate for purab bcoz his entry made armaans character black. he was purposely being made negative to facilitate purab in the story and bcoz of him the whole stroy was deviated from the original one and the most beautiful story was destroyed.

then in the end he did the utlimate disaster by dieing bcoz of him jassi went to nainital and after there was no end to the downfall of that show. 😭

-yes purab was a good character, but he broke Jassi's heart to, by leaving her, and he was also overprotective about Jassi
- Yes Armaan did become selfish, and that's why at one point of time people didn't like him that much, but you should also see that he did lots of things genuinely for Jassi as a friend
- Yes Armaan's character was more egoistic then Purab's, but that doesn't mean that Purab is good, and Armaan is bad
- and my last and the most valid point the story always belonged to Jassi and Armaan, and before Purab came in, they already developed a slight love story, and Jassi's heart break wasn't because of the engagement treatment she got, but it was a love heartbreak
-Yes Armaan broke her heart, but he broke it because he made a place in Jassi's heart
- Yes Purab was a good character, but its very evident that Jassi all the way belonged to Armaan
- and I still believe that Armaan was more realistic then Purab's.

You know the engagament heartbreak..I Dont know why jassi Broke.

yes she loved Armaan but she had to control herself..Cause she Mallika was Armaan's gilrfriend.

My only reasons are Purab always helped Jassi, yes he was a bit over protective and the engagement thing I think was just total BS.

Personally, I think Jassi looked better with Purab than Armaan. I am not against Apurva but I think he makes better couple with Kaajal than Jassi.

Also, Armaan was always mean to Jassi, he used her a lot of times and didn't even defend her when Mallika was being rude to her.

Agreed, Purab was a bit unrealistic character but that's what all of the over emotional characters in the Indian shows are.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I am not asking anyone to change theirs.. It's just my opinion that I think Purab was far better character overall than Armaan (I mean just the characters not actors, by the way 😳).

why are all these Purab fans repeating the same things?

He supported her many times in front of Mallika, and he was the only one that gave her job and success not looking at how does she look, he has always been friendly, agreed that he might be a bit mean sometimes but he is the only person that has also been the nicest!!!!!!
