i loved the show till purab's first entry. some part after his exit the first time and before second entry.

yeh u r right by saying that armaan was made negative after Purab's entry But I must say that Armaan has done some pretty egoistic and dum things, but again that doesn't mean that Purab was more deserving of Jassi, both of the couldn't develop those feelings that armaan-jassi shared, and if Purab loved Jassi he would've not just left her.

And Purab hasn't done much for her? what he has done? nothing he did nothing except interfering in her life and diching her, Armaan did heaps he gave her fame, love, fun times, fame, everything, and was alwatys there to support Jassi, gave her anew car, trusted her and made her the chairman of kohinoor, made her his valentine, did lots for her, and was madly in love with her, him being a bit mean or insecure or egoistic made him more real unlike Purab's character.

First of all,as Nikita said-why I feel Armaan has a grey shade (or something like that),after Purab entered the show & if Armaan behaves badly,that does not make Purab good (again...something to that effect-I am not intentionally twisting your words,sorry) I agree. But why don't you see the other way around? If Purab is bad,that does not make Armaan good! He did use Jassi. & I am talking about-when Jassi left GM for good,when she found out that Armaan was playing game with her-pretending to be in love with her.At that time,she was shattered, she did not know that by that time Armaan was really in love with her. agreed Nandu was her friend, but she wanted some one more solid hand (or should I say-shoulder 😉)than Nandu's.
If Purab never made Jassi feel,as Armaan did,it is because Jassi was already in love with Armaan & one ( here I mean a woman..I don't know about man,as I have never been one 😉 😆 ) never forgets their first love........or I'll say love,as I think that particular love happens only once.
Purab came between Armaan & Jassi, because besides being in love with her ( & what's wrong with being in love? one does not have any control over that feelings anyway 😳 ) he was protective of Jassi,because he thought (or knew) that Armaan was using Jassi. He made her fight for herself,(remember,after meeting Purab for the first time,Jassi asks for a big cabin for herself?) as she was very used to being bashed & hated by others, he did not take decisions on behalf of her. He wanted her to see the truth. Remember the scene,where he said to Armaan-'ye jaan kar dukh hua ki tum Jassi ko bhi ek cheez samjhte ho'. That's what Armaan really thought of Jassi at first. She was a mere piece of furniture for him. I seem to remember, he himself did say so, while talking to Raj once.
Armaan made a company in Jassi's name,because he did not have any one else. & he knew, no one else would support him except Jassi. & he made her chairman of GM, not willingly. He hated her at that time,because his ego was hurt.
I was giving only an example,when talking about Raghav that we did not want him or any one else in Jassi's life except Armaan. That's the reason of not liking Purab. I have no intention of talking about him,as the show became boring for me,after it went to Nainital. For the sake of watching, I just watched it.
& if you ask me,which episodes I liked the most in JJKN, I'll plead guilty-because the most episodes I loved to watch was,when Armaan pretends to be in love with Jassi. 😊 & after that when he was jealous,when he really fell in love with Jassi-I still love to watch those episodes 😛
But even then I liked Purab. I am not saying that Jassi should have married him.He was a good friend matirial. & I did say that I did not like his ditching Jassi like that. But hate Purab? that I can't.

Very nicely written vimzz I did feel at one time that Jassi should marry Purab ...that was before Purab left the show...his first exit..

For a fact that purab looked good made Armaan look bad.Not that purab has to do anything bad but they really diviated from Armaan-jassi to include Purab the great guy.

Purab wasnt meant to be in the story.For a good guy we have Nandu.😆

Jassi had bebe amrit nandu etc.She didnt need purab and certainly not the one who left her .

Jassi always found happiness in small things.That was her plus point and now suddenly beacuse she has gained confidence she wants a Bigger Cabin?I thought that was so not in tune with her.She could have always asked for one but she never wanted one.

Armaan was a jerk but you have to admit subconsciously he never meant all those.He was just revolted at the idea of profeesing love to her that at times he said mean things.There was an unspoken relatioship between them.And now wonder when jassi paid back Armaan bug time that he started to blurt what she really meant to him.

Haila..was that your main point😆.Of course you cant hate him.Purab's a good man and nobody shoud hate him.But unfornutely Purab to me is a Tv chracter and hence I took the liberty to hate him. I treated the rest jjkn cast as pretty real.
People say we hate purab beacuse he came between A-j..thats not true.I alwaus liked and Kind of admired Mallika.😳

Tina, right there you are contradicting. You said that he was too white and didn't have grey shade. But in the very next sentence you said that deep down it was his "selfishness" 'coz he loved Jassi. So that means he was not that unrealistic after all was he 😉
As for his running way , it was just the way to get back into track and hence I wont take that into considersation . I also didnt like the fact that he assumed and took decisions on behalf of Jassi and coming up with his own decisions abt people.

Jassi had commited him as his fiancee at one point. Ofcourse he would take decision on his behalf. Now that is not good I know that, but that does not mean things like this don't happen. WE see it all the time speciall in Indian society. I agree that his running away was to get back into track so its not worth discussing

Arman was a complete grey character who was believable . how can a complete grey character be believable. In my real life as an upper middle class girl, i have not seen a flirt boss, who flirt around with every girl he meets and get drunk. That itself was kind of unrealisitc with me. I know we see such things in bollywod and soaps all the time, but in real life plp like arman are not too realistic to be found in certain society There was no doubt that he supported Jassi , he gave her a job, giving job to applican is not "supportive" it is market where you give for your own benifit too if you like applicant praised her , appreciated her efforts , gifted her a car, gave her a raise and even promoted her in such a short notice , yes it did benefit him too and he may have done ot for selfish reasons but the fact is Jassi too benefited from it and he did all those things fo rher . he did all those things for her. At that point of time Arman Suri would not do anything for jassi. it was time when he did it for himself we know that. he had heart partivartan long after that He had always trusted her , he got insecure when Jassi started behaving differently with him and also her dialogues " that kohinoor was hers and he has given her the rights to appoint anyone , that she did all the work for the fashion show coz as the owner of kohinoor it was important for the fashion show to be a success " . Moreover Nandu was misleading them with his statements abt her leaving GM and they can enjoy with the money they had , all this made him insecure more so coz of the situation his company was in . I liked arman more coz he was believable and the fact that he had flaws and he changed coz of his love for Jassi . Love is a feeling , it doesnt come based on the goodness of the character but it just happens , Jassi started loving arman coz he was kind to her , he never pretended to love her when she fell in love , it was only later that he pretended to love her after knowing her feelings for him .

so for me , Arman wins hands down
