Inside Raj's cabin, Armaan heaves a satisfied sigh and plonks himself into a chair. "At last…..home sweet home!! Yaar, Amritsar mein maza bahut aaya, par Gulmohur ki—aur teri—yaad bahut aati thi! Hamara naya collection kitna ready hai?"
Raj: (smiling) Almost taiyar ho chuka hai….waise, Maddy ne Meghna ko bahut miss kiya….kahin usse bhi toh wahaan koi Punjab da puttar toh nahin mil gaya?
Armaan: (laughing) Aisa koi chance nahin! Haan, Angel ko zaroor Chaman achcha lagne laga hai….!
Raj: Kya?? (burts out laughing) Yaar, Amritsat ka naam badal kar "Cupid-gaon" rakh dena chahiye…! Tum log Jassi ki god-bharai keliye gaye the ki match-making ke liye?
Armaan: (looking slyly at him) Cupid ka jaadu toh yahaan bhi zaroor chala hoga…..kyun, Neha ke saath baat kuch aage bade..?
Raj blushes and then sighs, pacing the floor. Armaan has a smile hiding at the corner of his mouth.
Raj: Story aage toh badhi hai, aur shayaad…….(stops, turns and looks earnestly at his friend)….Armaan, mujhe lagta hai, mujhe pyaar ho gaya hai!
Armaan is silent for a few seconds. Then he shoots up from his chair, rushes to Raj and hugs him tight. "I'm so happy, Raj……main bata nahin sakta ki mujhe kitni khushi ho rahi hai…..!"
Raj: (sobering down) Main jaanta hun ki tu mere liye aisa hi feel karega…..lekin Armaan….Neha ke past se judi kuch aisi baatein hai, jo suljhaani bahut zaroori hai….
Armaan shoots him a startled glance. Looking carefully around to ensure that no one is listening, Raj tells him all he has learnt about Anuj Shastri and CJ.
When he finishes, Armaan shifts restlessly in his chair. "Par Raj…..aisa kuch hint tune mujhe Amritsar men phone karke bhi diya tha…..lekin ab inn sab baton ka kya faayda…jo kuch hua, usko 8 saal guzar chuke hai….aur CJ, Raghav ke khoon ke liye jail mein sazaa kaat raha hai….."
Raj: (passionately) Haan, wo sazaa kaat raha hai….lekin sirf ek jurm ki……jabki uski history mein pata nahin kitne gunaah chhupe honge….aur umne se ek ke baare mein um jaante hai…in fact, do ke baare mein…..ek, Anuj Shastri, jo I strongly suspect CJ ke haathon hi maraa hai….aur ek wo anjaan aadmi, jo Naintal mein maara gaya tha….uss aadmi ke parivar ko insaaf dilaana zaroori hai….. (stops short as he catches Armaan looking wonderingly at him)….kya hua?
Armu: Main dekh raha hun, ki kya yeh wahi Raj hai jo chhote-mote jhooth bolne mein zaraa bhi nahin hesitate nahin karta tha…jisne mujhe Jassi se pyaar ka naatak karne ke liye kaha tha….aaj wahi Raj, kissi anjaan aadmi ko insaaf dilaana chahta hai….
Raj: (deeply embarrassed) Kyun? Jab tu badal sakta hai toh main nahin..? Anyway……iss waqt hume yeh find out karna hai ki wo aadmi tha kaun…aur Armaan, tujhe Jassi ko bhi yeh baatein bataani hongi….
Armaan nods grimly. They both set to discussing their plan of action.
