Intially I was lost too while watching kaajal. But now I have accepted the fact that there will never be a AA and MS together.

I don't want to miss out watching AA. His acting skills are amazing. Thats enough for me.

Mr. Suri and Mr.Singh are two different characters. Mr.Suri is a flirting and charming casanova to begin with and Mr.Singh is a recluse trapped in his past.

Sometimes the seriousness and hesitation portrayed can be conceived as lack of soul and enjoyment.

We could debate this for eons but since this is JJKn forum, let us leave it at that.

completely agree with u tisha di;i became a fan of apu with jjkn only and no doubt jjkn was a pathbreaking show whereas kajal is a typical love story but its very sweet and simple in its treatment;i mean u don't hv to scratch ur heads to understand any kind of mystry;u can just enjoy the tenderness of love;in fact i would like to request all jjkn lovers who haven't visited the kajal forum to please come at least once and read the posts of hemadi;tishadi and also mine's;i m sure these posts will make u watch kaajjal fm a diff perspective.😊

thats where i have a problem,I cant see any tenderness or love, all i can see is acting and nothiug else and for my tastes the serial is very cliched and sugar coated which i do not approve of . I expected apu to do something else and was dissapointed that he accepted a cliched role.

abt hema's posts , well she is a die-hard apu fan and hence would watch anything and everything of him and like it too and she is a die-hard romantic too and hence enjoy reading her posts but i just cannot plcae my judgement on that basis .

dev and arman may be different characters but u need soul and u need to connect with the role to perform, whcih i find lacking in dev . Theres excellent acting but there is no conection atleast for me and its also possible that its due to the story which i find completely boring and regular

I hope this not a Dev vs Armaan thingy..That would break my heart into two literally 😆 .Of ourse the mere fact that I watched armaan for 3 years itself makes me so close to that chracter but I think dev's interesting as well cause he's different.

well i accept ur point tina but its not always necessary to watch a regular soap with a critical frame of mind;well i accept the fact that its just another love story but its definitely not boring;just check out the 2nd jan epi where dev is trying to apologize to kajjal in a very funny and unique way.see my point is when we watch this serial in a jjkn frame of mind we somewhere try to look for armaan instead of dev and thats where the prob lies;even i hv been a die hard fan of jjkn and armaan fm day 1 and i just couldn't eat fr aday when it ended but then when i started watching this serial i found it to b a good timepass nothing extraordinary but still very refreshing in terms of its treatment;and which serial is not cleeshade and boring;when u talk about left right left it is diff but now it has started following the cleeshade part(what is happening right now is naina is secretly in love with cap rajveer and vice versa and huda also loves naina and both r fighting a boxing match fr her😆😆;does this happen in a military academy);jab love hua is funny but unreal;i mean in reality i don't think a millonaire will fall in love with a gaonwala;so that's why i say kajal is regular and cleeshade but somewhere u can connect with these characters;and i love jjkn as much as u alldo;but i also like kajal for itssheer simplicity

well i dont finda nything close to reality in kaajjal and thats my honest opinion. The girl and bot getting stuck in the car due to landslide, conveniently finding a barn and then their mushy scenes ......gosh its so cliched .I didnt watch it but read it .
the guy arrogant at first but then slowly starts loving the girl ,another guy comes in as the third angle . look its not just the cup of tea for me.

JJKN was pathbreaking indeed even if it as copied ,I dont know abt the other serials coz I dont watch them .But all i am looking for i something different and not the usual love stories which to extend the show may lead to ridiculous twists . Thats what is going to happen in kaajjal too , do u possibly think that they wont have any more twists and turns to stretch the story.

I know apu is doing his job for money and I also know that he is doing his job really well but that diesnt mean i have to like it , I just dont find the connection ,thats all .

hailaa.....not another dev vs. armaan thing......well let me continue the true topic of this thread....after JJKN i started watching kasamh se, vaidehi, kaajal, big boss, betiyaan, saat phere and such....but i got immesely bored with kaajal....and big boss was just too frequently on tellly for me to be watching, so i dropped it and i sadly had to drop vaidehi.....so now im left kasamh se, betiyaan and i started kahaani ghar ghar ki......

I think it is not so much a Dev vs Armaan debate as a Kaajjal vs JJKN debate. Personally, I agree that it would have been difficult for Apu to get another path- breaking role after Armaan. Within his limitations, he has done quite well: He did not join Kekta 🤢 , which his spouse would almost certainly have urged him to; he stuck to Sony; he chose an interesting character; and he is acting it out with conviction. For all this, he deserves credit. 👏

But then again, I'm quite honestly not such an Apu fan as to watch ANYTHING that he does; I did not even watch NB1 that whole-heartedly. I like him best as Armaan. Period.

Those who watch Kaajjal are mostly die-hard Apu fans. There are others who watch the show because they like a good love story. Taken by those criteria, Kaajjal is not bad. I daresay if it had come along BEFORE JJKN, I might have liked it and even got hooked to it. But JJKN has spoilt me for life. It has raised my expectations no high that no ther show can match up to it. Even though JLH is a young, fresh, funny and different story, and I enjoy watching it, there is no comparison with JJKN. Nothing can take its place in my heart.

Then again, not all JJKN fans watched JDJ, and probably not all will watch EM and Khamoshi. So why expect all JJKN fans to like Kaajjal?
