Mona launches a new product : on Popkorn

In Popkorn (Zoom) today, they showed Mona launching a new range of cooking products (microwave ovens and the like) by Godrej. She was supposed to be promoting healthy cooking, and she talked about how important diet was to regulate one's weight. While she was doing JDJ, she said, she used to dance 5-6 hours at a stretch but now that was not possible, so she needed to focus on her diet, although she loves eating. 😊

Mona also said that she would like to invent a machine in which one could just get in, press a button and come out thin (d-uhhhhh Mona!😕)😆. She looked quite good in a pink top and white skirt, and i didn't see any of the extra kgs Mid-day has been reporting.

Then they showed clips from Mona's victory party in which she was dancing away with Tobby 😊, KO 😡, Mahesh and Sanjeev....there was no sign of Apu.😭 The voice-over went on slyly about Mona's singing plans and how this was inevitable considering her "khaas dost" Karan Oberoi was a singer as well. Mona said that she has always been a bathroom singer (reminded me of Kudkudiya when Apu said "she's a bathroom singer" and she quipped "tumhe kaise pata?"😉😳) but a lot of people had told her to come out in the limelight with her talent; she was doing riyaz and next year she will definitely launch an album (ALONE i hope!😡)

The voice-over added that Mona she was now getting ready for her new show "Makeover" and it would be interesting to see her new role in this one.

P.S. Though she looked good and carried herself even better, I didnt find her so vivacious as she usually is. Is it just me or has Mona really lost her zing...again? Judging from the recent pics, one would think so.

It looks like she's all set to have a bright future, with the mass of offers coming in. 😊

Btw Anu i don't think there is any repeat tomorrow😭, Popkorn timings have changed and it now airs at 7:30 pm and 10:30 pm only. But watch Weekend Popkorn tomorrow at 8 pm, they might just show that part again.😊

Well, I agree with you and I have been telling this for a while now. Being an active tree huggie 😳 😆, I still feel that Mona is loosing her charm. She need to do something to look more cute and feminie rather than slim all the time. Girls can look much prettier even when they are carying some weight 😊

I think she is getting more seasoned and is no longer the vivacious natural newcomer. We knew in the early days of her TV career. MS has been in the TV industry for the last 3 years. There is always change with progress... I guess happens to all of us.😉
