So let me rephrase it: SS really let JJKN fans down by sticking to his ego & not let the directors make the necessary changes as they deemed necessary at that juncture and then refusing to shoot which in my dictionary is called unproffesionalism.

And if Apoorva Agnihotri does something similar,I will say the same for him.And for every other actor,no matter who he is.

SS said before joining the show that he is coming back only if the makers of the show will do the justice to his character. that is the reason why his contract was more flexible. Also note before coming back the second time he had told the producers that he wont want his character to go negative, so it is not ego, it is something which he had pre-decided before coming back. The makers were confident that they were the owners of the story until they got that warning from BLF.

AA contract on other hand compared to SS contract is very airtight.

Trust me on this one. Even if AA wanted he couldnt have quit the show , and if mona singh wanted she couldnt have quit the show for 2 years, not even advertise as mona singh, she has to attend all the parties and major functions dressed as mona singh etc. Next year her contract renews.Well that is not needed anymore i guess.

Same goes for mallika, she couldnt have left the show.

Since purab's role was being extended beyond the stipulated time and SS didnt knew exactly what will happen to his character in future thus he kept the contract flexible.

Atleast i did not like the idea of jassi's face on postal stamp, they are placing her with Mahatma Gandhi and so on .... really disgusting friends

Not everyone placed on a stamp can be placed with Mahatma Gandhi.There are thousands of stamps.And all those featured have their unique quality and not bacause they are at par with Mahatma Gandhi.

There are stamps of men & women from all walks of life along with numerous birds,animals,forts,functions.....even snakes so are they there because they are placing them with mahatma????😆

Bad exit was required to justify jassi going back to armaan, because if you see an exit by purab as a sacrifice wouldnt have gone down well with the auidience as then he would have become the ultimate person who really loves jassi. something like Ajay Devgan in Hum Dil De Chuke sanam.

Why do you think that the directors even in absence of purab are still trying hard to dump the character of purab in the minds of auidience, constantly trying to press the point to auidience how BAD he is to leave jassi at such a juncture. They are desperate to justify thier move. so do you think had SS been there they would have done any diffrent??

Well your source might be right in their version of what happened to samir soni but there can be different versions .what i got to hear is from friends in the television industry.Yes since it is a copyright there could not be any major changes to the story.Samir knew it right from the begining.But since his character was so goody goody and he came in at a time when there was a huge sympathy wave for jassi and he played her knight in shining armour.People liked his character and he got popular.But a versatile actor is one who plays different shades and comes out a winner,well he did not want to be sidelined and play a negative character as he did not think of the show and the team but only of himself.He played difficult with the makers and made their lives miserable but being professional themselves they tried looking at all possible angles to keep him back and bring him back later but he did not shoot for a graceful exit and the makers had to suffer for that and instead to applauding them ,we are saying that they ruined the show...why would the makers want to ruin their own show..and their reputation.My suggestion to all makers and producers of serial is that when you sign on an actor make him first shoot an exit scene.You could keep it in cold storage so if that actor gets big for his boots you wont be dependable on anyone. It is teh show that matters not any individual....

I totally disagree aman. I think ss can play any role, he has infact played the negative role in saakshi but in jassi - they were not justifying the sudden negativity and hence the problem.

The directors can't suddenly make do their character any thing stupid, specially from the actors who are educated and have some sense. Purab knew that if his character is to turn negative- it will look stupid which it does- not because purab did not shoot those scenes but because the audience is not foolish.

But makers had to make him negative in order to show armaan in good light- so they had no option. But they should have realised long back that BLF will not let them change the end and should have not hyped purab so much.

Sameer is only being a sensible actor who wants to do roles which are real and not stupid. Is that his fault?
