Frankly, if someone went to the press and criticised me and kept walking out on me, as a maker of a successful show, I wouldn't even want to think about him.
They are here to make money. Partiality is out of the question. If they ignored him, he must have earned it. He must have deserved it. If he is criticising the makers, they must be deserving it.
This was about AJ love journey, narrated by the once upon a time playboy, Armaan Suri, who has now changed for the better, thanks to the uncompromising love, innocence and goodness of an ugly duckling.
Why would he want to spoil eveything by lingering on his arch-rival?
I think it was very touching and wonderful to see the marked change in him. Truly love changes one for the better.
No point in showing a character who was supposed to be a minor one but got more than his due and got eulogised by getting the mains side-linined and resulted in the story going nowhere.
This safar was not to highlight the sufferings and injustice done to a minor character who ought to have been erased long back. That would have been doing justice to the character, actor, JJKN and AJ.
I think it was very smart of them to not dwell on unnecessary issues and characters and give us a real treat by focussing on the main storyline and the main protagonists.
I'm sorry if I'm hurting anyone. But, I have no complaints and it was a real treat as far as I am concerned.

It's one thing is Purab wasn't involved in JJKN, or his involvement was as samll as the roles played by the office gang at GM. But u see that was never the case.
To say that Purab never played an important role in JJKN is incorrect, in my opinion.
Just because T&D failed big time in bringing out this role, doesn't mean that he never added value to the show. The link between Jassie and Jessica Bedi (as the story goes) is Purab. Not that I'm saying that I think the story line was great, but what ever it was...the idea here is that Purab was an imporant factor in Jassi's makeover. My ponit is that JJKN was a story about Jassi and her metamophisis, as much as it was about her love affair with Armaan.
Part of the ratings of JJKN in the past was partly due to the die hard fans of Purab. If they did not want to show clips of him because they were mad at him is a very poor excuse. They could have done it for the fans.
We can debate about Purab's contribution adding value to the show or not, that's whole seperate issue, the point I'm trying to make is that, there is something call professionalism and diplomacy towards the show and it's fans. T&D failed in proving that they have any.
Bottom line Deepa, you know what it matters so much??It's because if they showed a clip of each and every charater on the show, then why not Purab?
Even Pari was shown.....tell me what was Pari's contribution to Armaan and Jassi's love affair????
