I dont watch Kaajjal,so cant comment,..But I believe AA is called "SIR",...Perhaps they are trying to inject a sense of deja vu ,perhaps they(meaning sony) want to cash in on that image which workedwonders earlier....

Apu is definitely a great actor,so no surprise that he's acting well 😊 ...Regarding hotness,errm,(I cant see anything beyond Hrithik these days😆😳..So compared to those standards,APu might never stand any chance EVER!Period!)I dont know,I havent seen Apu onscreen since a long time...But all this would surely lead to the inflation of someone's head 😉...Havent heard the cliche "MOST good looking man in India"(YAWN) for a long time now 😉 ,Perhaps I might start hearing that hackneyed line more,now that most detractors(barring me,moni,sheen,limey(who is now MIA 😭 )) arent critiquing 😉 ...

I just watched one episode(initially) of Kaajjal,and found Surveen to be pretty wooden,she doesnt tug at your heartstrings,she looked like one cliched leading lady,who does the same thing which every Kripa,Kashish do....And Apu was hamming initially,I dont know whether he's improved now and has sunk his teeth into his role,but initially he used to ham,and he lacked variety in acting....The show definitely cant be compared to JJKN,because the main reason being Kaajjal lacks the novelty,which indeed was JJKN's USP(the novelty),its just another show with a good decent leading male who can thankfully ACT(not sure whether that hamming has gone though),nothing else to write home about

exactly I felt the same buffie, its just too cliched and I cant tolerate the overly sweet cliched romance . There always has to be a landslide or a storm for romance and yeah there would be ho hotels near by and they would find a barn in the middle of the woods and the lasy will conveniently slip at the exact time . c'mon .........cant they come up with something different .

Kaajal is watchable only for AA. Otherwise its just like any other serial.
