Why did Purab force Jassi to dance?

It was pretty obvious that meena was hurting. so to spite purab she invited purab and jassi to dance. but the question is why did purab go ahead w/ it? esp w/ jassi saying she is so uncomfortable? what more he continued to dance while everyone noticed how embarrassed jassi is. wasnt there a better way for purab to handle the situation? something like what nandu did. change the music to punjabi folk music with which jassi wud be comfortable? the way purab behaved it looked as though he badly wanted to prove a point to meenakshi that he's made the right choice? why do that if he doesnt care for her anyway?
btw purab really hurt meenakshi. one woman who really loves him. poor girl!

good point shreya. Purab used Jassi to prove to Meenakshi that she does not mean anything to him now.

I agree he should never have put Jassi through the humiliation!! Especially knowing she was feeling so self concious.

Also he kept on touching her and you could tell she didnt feel comfortable with it.🤢

Hope you saw the episode on Friday.. I don't think this is true.. Jassi was very comfortable with Purab before the entry of Meenakshi.

I like Meenakshi. She might be forward spoken but she just speaks her mind. She is not two faced. She wants Purab and will do her best to get him. YOU GO GIRL!

To me it appeared that Purab was trying to encourage Jassi to
dance with him. I don't think he was trying to embarrass her,
embarrassed of her or trying to prove anything to Meenakshi.
What did Meenakshi think, that Purab wouldn't dance with
Jassi? Although Purab didn't do as good a job in defending
her to Meenakshi as he could have, Jassi didn't do a very good
job communicating with Purab about what he felt.

Quite frankly, Jassi did a good job of embarrassing herself by
creating so much drama while dancing with him. Then she
runs away from the party, how DUMB! DUMB! DUMB! DUMB!
DUMB! DUMB! DUMB! If Armaan asked her to dance, there
would not have any drama, right Jassi... 🤢. Jassi's hypocracy
is really irritating!

i posted this under another thread but am doing so again since it is abt dance

it was uncomfortable but impossible to avoid...if you get a chance to see the rerun...you will find everyone backs out leaving them in middle of dance floor..unless purab specifically said he did not want to dance...he could not have done anything else. his refusal would have even more underlined thier differences and opened them to speculation. more fodder for rumours...i guess purab thought he could carry it off (it was not as if he was demanding perfection, when she stumbles, he laughs encouragingly ...saying that is good jassi...you can do it)and he would have, had jassi made a small attempt to work with him. i have been in situation like that once and found that instead of avoiding it ,the way is to dance for two mins with a smile and ask everyone to join in while you quietly slip away.

agreed puja... even though purab mgiht be in fault aswell i think jassi shouldn't have bcked off like that. I mean she calls herself "queen victoria" so maybe she should start behaving like one... what happened to her self esteem? Jassi never cared about how she looked or anything or about how others though tabout her... so why is she bieng so dramatic now>?
