Nandu and Chaman are driving back home in forlorn silence. Nandu is wondering, "Meghna toh jaana nahin chahti….kya Armaan ke gharwale chalne ko taiyar honge? Agar yeh trip cancel ho gaya toh?" he shudders at the thought.
Chaman is looking the picture of misery. At last he bursts out, "Nandu ji, main Amritsar nahin jaunga!"
Nandu brakes so suddenly that they both are jolted out of their seats. He looks in outrage at Chaman. "Yeh kya keh rahe ho!"
Chaman: (shaking his head) Mujhe kuch achcha nahin lag raha Nandu ji….aakhir main Amritsar jaake kya karunga…
Nandu looks reproachfully at him. "Jaake kya karoge? Toh peeche ruk ke kya karoge?"
Chaman: (lamely) Wo….wo ji…..ghar ki dekh bhaal karunga na….aakhir ghar par bhi toh koi hona chahiye….😕
Nandu: (exasperated) Chaman, ghar ki dekh bhaal ke liye kisi ki zaroorat nahin hai…meri mummy hai na…aur jab Jassi Nainital mein thi aur baaki sab Amritsar mein, tab bhi toh ghar khaali tha…..tumhe iski chinta kab se hone lagi?
His phone rings and he glares at Chaman one last time before picking it up. Jassi is at the other end, very excited.
Nandu: Haan bol Jassi…..sab theek hai?
Jassi: Bilkul theek hai… (Armaan is caressing her shoulders while she is speaking😳. She giggles and tries to push him away, not too firmly😉.) Nandu…ek good news hai!
Armaan whispers, "Sabse good news toh yahan hai…" He pushes his hand down to her stomach. For a second both are mesmerized; jassi blushes as he passionately kisses her cheek. ❤️
Nandu: Hello….Jassi…hello?
Jassi: (recollecting herself) Haan Nandu…..Meghna chalne ko taiyar ho gayi hai…..ab hum sab ja rahe hain….koi problem nahin hai….
Nandu: (joyously) Kya! Great!
He puts the phone down and looks slyly at Chaman, who is staring in a puzzled fashion.
Nandu: Sab problems solve ho gayi hai…..ab Meghna bhi chal rahi hai…aur aur sab bhi….😉
Chaman is grinning all over his face, but Nandu bursts his bubble by saying, "Waise Chaman…tumhari baat theek hai….tum aakhir hamare saath chal ke kya karoge….tum yahin raho aur ghar sambhaalo….." 😈
Chaman: (on the verge of a panic attack😆) Nahin nahin….aap theek toh keh rahe the…..ghar toh aapki mummy ji dekh lengi….
Nandu: Nahin Chaman….tumhe ghar ki itne chinta hai…..tumhe rukna hi chahiye….
Chaman: Nandu ji,please mujhe chalne se mat rokiye….
Nandu bursts out laughing and claps him on the shoulder. "Chaman…….main toh sirf tumhari taang kheech raha tha….main achchi tarah jaanta hun ki jahan Angel, wahan Chaman…..hum sab chalenge…..bahut mazaa aayega….!"
Chaman laughs and blushes.
In GM:
Maddy is devastated to know that Meghna will be leaving for Amritsar. He squeals, "Noooooo Megs…..tum mere saath aisa nahin kar sakti! You promised me ki tum yahan mere saath reh kar nayi collection design karne mein meri help karogi!"
Meghna: (apologetically) Maddy, I'm really sorry….mujhe tumhe aise promise nahin karna chahiya tha…..par mujhe khud nahin pata tha ki main Amritsar jaungi….
Maddy: Amritsar!! Meg….tum Amritsar ja ke karogi kya? Whaan ki borrrring life ke upar ek documentary banaogi? (laughs sarcastically)
Meg: (warming up) Nahin Maddy…..main wahaan ek siddh baba se milne ja rahi hoon…..honestly, Maddy, mera to iss family outing mein ko interest nahin tha….lekin jab se mujhe baba ke baare mein pata chala hai, I'm so excited! Mujhe unse bahut saare tips mil jayenge….apne Yantric-Tantric……
Maddy: Stop it Meghna! Tum ek baba ke peeche meri….Maddy ki collection ko chod ke ja rahi ho?? Mujhe tumse ye umeed nahin thi Meghna……tum jao yahan se….just shoooooo…..😕
Meg: (earnestly) Maddy, please naraaz mat ho….
Maddy: Naraaz na hoon? Meg….tum jaanti ho tum meri kitni special friend ho? Gulmohur mein sirf tumhi thi jiske saath mera creative wavelength milta tha…..jab tum waapas aayi toh I was so happy….i thought we'd make a great team….lekin tumne mujhe iss tarah chod diya! Why sweetie, why? (gets a wee bit emotional)
Meghna takes hold of his hands. "Maddy, I know tum upset ho….and I said I'm sorry…I mean it…..please Maddy, iss aboriginal collection ko abhi rehne do……main jab Punjab jaungi, toh wahaan ke traditional designs ke samples collect karungi…unhe tum apni next collection mein use kar lena….okay?"
Maddy: (considerably consoled) Really, sweetie? You mean it?
Meg: Absolutely!
They hug; Maddy wishes her a safe journey.
Raj is looking thoughtfully at Armaan. "Yaar, tu inta excited ho raha hai….lekin mujhe ab darr lag raha hai…tere peeche kuch gadbad ho gayi toh?"
Armaan: I know kuch gadbad nahin hogi….aur hui bhi, toh mera kaabil dost Raj Malhotra sab handle kar lega…c'mon yaar…..tu toh itna capable hai…..mujhse zyada tu experienced hai….aur hamari phone pe baat hoti rahegi!
Raj: (sentimentally) I'll miss you yaar!!
Armaan: me too!!
They hug tight. Raj whispers, "Have a good time!"
Armaan: Thanks!
Raj: Jassi ka khayal rakhna!
Armaan nods , and they hug again.😳
