Well, apu has always been amon lisa to begin with 😕 😆 ...and that suprisngly is what I liked 😕 😕 😕 (I can't believe i'm saying this 🤢 )..I liked Armaan Suri the "metrosexual male working in a fashion house"😕..because, I liked how he was always well groomed(basicially, took care of himself-->that was for the part)..compared to some of the other TV actors in their "bad boy" image at the time-->a la Chetan Hansraj as Sasha in KGGK🤢 or Shabbir Aluwalia in whatever role he played-->all I can remember is him looking ewwww🤢🤢...So I fell in love with apu's on-screen persona at that time😕..yes buffie, the amon lisa one😆

But I stopped liking AA as soon as he started to look amon lisa off-screen just to please is wife🤢🤢🤢-->okie, that is NOT how you carry yourself in public-no matter what biwi no. 1 says😕😆...had he ever heard of dignity????😕..or had she????😕...just to garner publicity he acted plain pathetic👎🏼👎🏼...so I guess I found the SandA duo really cheap🤢👎🏼..and you couldn't really dislike one individually because of their cheapness-It was both together, because as time passed AA's true colours were revealed🤢...now was it that "both were as bad as eachother"👎🏼...

I was never crazy about Apu, and by the same token i don't dislike him now. To be honest, i never could understand why so many girls drooled over him during the golden days of JJKN: Amritsar, Thum ja et al 😳 😳 😳 ; i lowed Armaan Suri and still love him: he is the perfect example of how love can completely transform a character. ❤️ Apoorva deserves appreciation for playing Armaan to perfection; no other actor could have done justice to that role. 👏

Offscreen, i liked whatever i saw of Apu on the JJKN sets or with his JJKN friends like Mona, Gaurav and RK. Somehow JJKN seemed to bring out hte best in him not only onscreen, but offscreen too. He seemed so humble and easy-going in Kudkudiya, AJK or the Tellies. 😊

That was why SPA was a shock. I still can't believethat cheap publicity stunt of sanda. 🤢 🤢 🤢 Although i still like many things about Apu, i have realised that he is far from perfect. That, however, is not reason enough for me to write him off completely. Let's wait and watch.

All said and done, i think the main reason why many here "stopped liking" him was because it was always the character they liked; once the show ended, so did the identification of the actor with his character and thus, the interest in Apu died down.

That's so so true Blyti. He always came across as such a sweet guy whenever he gave interviews with Mona. God knows what happens to him when he's with wifey dearest 😕

well i started likin the character armaan but eventually started likin apurva 🤢 .....this was durin the tham ja days.....i really liked apu in tht haircut 😳 😳 ....but when i started to actually know him he was a real TURN OFF 🤢 🤢 ....the GIS to the off screen person to the worst dressed guy to the ss clingy puppet to everythin was a true turn off 🤢 🤢 .....n ther are soo many other actors tht u tend to like someone else when ur 'so to call star' isnt around for some time....but 2day when i think abt it i feel pretty embarrased for havin such a choice....as all my family memebers know tht i used to like him....i used to hav a tough time wonderin if he wud dress well or talk gud for the blah blah occassion as all my family members watched nach baliye or watever he was in....so basically wat i wanna say is tht i liked him for some time i mean wat was i thinkin 😕 😕 but no more....only the character armaan 😳 😳

hola gurlleeees. i know it has been a long time. i haven't visited the JJKN section in a long time.

but I was visiting and I wanted to say hello and ummmm yeah, hi guys.

ironically, till date this is the only section where people seem to have some logical discussion. Having had visited other sections I thought lez see what is going on in the JJKN section.

i wanted to drop my 2 cents in about Apurva. I was crazy about him as Armaan. My husband used to tease me and say that I was having an affair with Armaan. I never denied that affair. 😉

i really think that Apurva tried as Armaan, but he seemed to be continously overshadowed by Jassi's character and as Apurva I would have to agree with many of you that because of his wife he perhaps comes across as a dork. However, whenever he has given interviews, he always seems shy and down to earth. I don't whether that is the case or not. Sadly, I have long forgotten about Apurva, but I saw that he may be coming out in a new show and I hope that he comes back with a bang.

Mona was a good actress, but she could never stay true to her words. She liked being Jassi and she disliked being Jassi. She liked the way the storyline was going and then she was in disagreement with the storyline.

I guess I am thinking of Apu and Mona as married and their relationship has gone bad. With Jassi, they had a great show and the show went south. They could be lucky and give it a second chance on another show. However, I can't say why, but it seems that Mona overpowers Apurva and Mona is gonna have to make some changes if they want to sizzle again as a TV couple.

Why would I dislike him? I don't even know him!

But I can say he looks like a genuinely nice person. 😃

Ditto jasmin... I too have nothing against Apu...He seems to be a real down to earth person and I really dont care what he does in his personal life..

Me too liked Armaan Suri a lot..He was awesome as armaan suri.. Like Deepa used say he was a chocoboy when it came to playing Armaan Suri..And I defended him till the end..

anyway.. I love Apoorva/Armaan today also as much as I loved him ever... 😳

and for me this thread proves the fact that how well he understands life and showbiz... and how intelligent he is..

I still remember how many were upset with him when he was here on I F for an interview.. and he said that he don't take his fans too seriously.. cause jo aaj uske saatha hai voh kal nahi rahenge.. (Abhishek bachchan said exact same thing in one of his old interview in Mumbai-Mirror few days after Apoorva's was online on I F...)

Many objected on his this attitude.. that how could he say such thing about us, we fight for Armaan Suri so much ..and all that..

But I loved him more for saying that particular sentense.. cause that showed his down to earth nature..

I think just because of his intelligence and simple nature..he handled immense popularity of Armaan Suri better than Mona Singh dealt with Jassi's. She is always confused till date.. and always contradicts herself cause she speaks for the media.. for the moment...

anyway.. to answer the main question.. I love him always.. 😳

btw.. SS makes you guys dislike him more..???
