Nowadays, whenever I see Purab, I imagine him singing "Ghumshudaaaa". The poor guy has the worst luck! First he falls for Miss Middle-Class Morality and now he can't even manage to find her.

Did you see the preview on the Setindia website? It says "Will Purab finally meet Jassi?" I seriously hope so! This is turning out to be a draggy nuisance.

We all know what happened in Betty. But for a second if we forget that a serial like that existed, then isn't the character of Armaan, the typical filmi villian? Then how can we accept his behaviour, just because we know he will change in the end.

Even though the producers might bring in a Purab to retain Jassi ( I heard she was about to leave like Khusum) or increase the ratings, I doubt they have the courage to deviate from the orignal. BTW, I heard the ending in the original was a big disappointment for the viewers.

😆Don't expect any answers, Lakshmi. I asked the same thing a while back and only ONE Armaan Fan replied. The metamorphosis argument is the only one which is in Armaan's favour.

And they will definitely not deviate from the original. If they had even a little bit of creativity, they wouldn't have bought a story...they would have written their own!

I think most of the feminist groups were disappointed, but the show on the other hand was very popular (including the ending). Mainly people just love fairy tales.

But, I do remember reading an article where the writer had referred to the ending as "hackneyed"...lol

Armaans character has so many conflicting facets which make him such an interesting person to watch - whereas Purub is a wimp. Full stop.

I agree that Armaan is a complex character, but I wouldn't call Purab a wimp. If he were, he wouldn't have even gone to Jassi's house after Billu threatening him.

Purab is still confused about Jassi's reaction. He really doesn't know what to expect from her. I mean, ANYONE would be hesitant about confronting someone who was unwilling to speak to them. But, in spite of that, in his own way, he does show courage by trying to contact her to clear the misunderstanding. Why on earth would he bother to go through so much trouble? If he really were a wimp, he wouldn't have bothered to contact her at all.

Courage comes in many different forms and is triggered by different circumstances. Even Armaan lacks the courage to tell Puru about Kohinoor.

yeah it took him 8 episode to reach jassi's place🤢.I think he was lost somewhere in Mumbai traffic😕 or was in Afganistan searching for her(as if she is a bin laden).Well the producer are only lengthening the story.lets see Arman and Jassi lov story now😉.
