Maninnee to play Aankh Micholi

Maninnee Misra is on cloud nine! It's not just because of the rave reviews that she's earned for her brilliant performance in Krrish. This Bong actress has recently signed the dotted line for Anant Mahadevan's Aankh Micholi, and will be seen in a different avatar altogether!

As compared to the other small screen actors who strive hard to grab a petty role in films, Maninnee's character as Honey in Krrish was quite noticeable, and she affirms that her role in Aankh Micholi thrice meatier than that in Krissh. An excited Maninnee says, "I am very thrilled as I play a very different character, that of a textile engineer, in this flick. My audience will be pleasantly surprised!"

She can't stop raving about her experience of working the Roshans. "Rakeshji is one focused director, and his mind is like a floppy! Without going through the sheets, he knows which scene comes when, which is astounding," says the actor. She continues, "And working with Hrithik was a dream come true. He is one of the most talented, hard-working and amazing actor I have ever come across. And to top it all, he is very humble too."

Starry tantrums are synonymous with big stars but in case of Priyanka Chopra, Maninnee has a different take, "She is extremely sweet, spontaneous and good to work with. And I must say that lady has a voice of a nightingale. She sings so beautifully, its mind blowing."
