No Personal Attacks Please!

Lately, I have been seeing some posts that were attacking certain actors or IF members personally.

I was really not so happy to see that as I am sure a lot of you must be having similar feelings.

So my request is that please never post anything that might hurt other members. NO personal attacks against any actor or members.

I know sometimes we get angry and post such stuff. But even then try to keep this in mind that your post might hurt someone – could be your friend as well.

This is not to say that you can't dislike a certain actor/character. You certainly can. You have full right to stick to your opinion but while doing that keep one thing in mind that your thoughts/posts should not be offensive to others. If you dislike an actor or character, state it with reasons and without being rude please.

The goal of IF is to have healthy, decent, and constructive discussions on TV shows. And the only way to achieve that goal is by working together. We require your kind help and support!

I agree, it is sad that sometimes members get carried away and attack each other personally. Individual opinions should be respected, but it is below the members' and forum's dignity if people resort to personal attacks.

I can't really reach through my computer to attack anyone, you know...if that was the case 1/2 of IF would be stuck in my computer screen trying to get through to attack me.

But yes, Maheen, you're very right that members should not personally [verbally] attack anyone else on this forum!

I totally agree, you can have a personal opinion about an actor or a character, but no one has a right to attack others members.
