Pari is completely taken aback to see the made-over Beauty. Raj grins and leads Beauty away. Pari stares after them, her mouth still open.😆
Raj stops outside's Armaan's office and motions to Beauty to stay outside. He walks in, to face an annoyed Armaan.
Armaan: Yaar tu kahan tha itni der se? Itne saare orders dispatch karne hai, agli collection ke liye publicity campaign ready karna hai, aur tu gayab hai?
Raj: (smiling meaningfully): Tu janna chahta hai ki main kya kar raha tha?
Armu: (surprised): Haan……?
Raj: (loudly) Beauty, aa jao!!
Beauty enters shyly and Armaan's eyes open wide. He stares in delighted surprise at the radiant Beauty.
Raj: (with pretended nonchalance) Maine socha ki Raj Malhotra Gulmohur mein waapas aaye aur kuch naya na ho, yeh kaise ho sakta hai! So…..tanatara!!!
Armu: (grinning) Beauty, aaj toh tum sachmuch "Beauty" lag rahi ho! Jassi toh hairaan ki reh jayegi!
Raj : (mumbling) Aur Nandu……?! (chuckles to himself)
Armu: Kya….kuch kaha tune?
Raj: Nahin….kuch bhi nahin!
Angel is sitting in her room, looking forlorn and depressed. Ila comes in and gently strokes her head. Angel meets her eyes but doesn't say a word.
Ila: Beta, kab tak apbe room mein baithi rahogi? Bahar aao, thoda change milega, Jassi se baatein karo….
Angel: (irritably) Please mom, mujhe yeh sab karne ko mat kaho….already mera mood theek nahin hai….pehli baar kisi ne mujhe reject kiya hai!
Ila: Beta, jo ho gaya so ho gaya…yeh socho ki yeh uss aadmi ka loss tha, tumhara nahin…..things could be worse, beta……kum se kum tum ghar pe ho, apno ke beech ho…
Angel: Kaun apne, mom? Wo Jassi? Ya wo Vedika, jo hamari family ka hissa bhi nahin hai..?
Ila: Angel!!
Angel: C'mon Mom! Aap jaante ho ki Jassi ka background hamare level ka nahin hai….
Ila: Bas beta! Tum saare baatein jaanti nahin, phir bhi bole ja rahi ho? Main bhi pehle tumhari tarah hi sochti thi, par finally mujhe pata chala ki Armaan ke liye Jassi se achchi ladki nahin ho sakti. Yeh meri hi galti thi, ki maine Mallika ki galtiyon ko nazarandaz kiya, usse favour kiya…..Mallika ne Armaan ko dhokha diya tha Angel….ussne pregnancy ka jhootha naatak kiya tha…issliye Armaan aur uska divorce hua….issme Jassi ki kya galti thi?
Angel is silent for a while. Then she speaks, a little more subdued, "Lekin Mom, Mallika ki death toh Jassi ki wajah se hui thi na?"
Ila: Nahin Angel, Mallika ki apni zid ne, apne paagalpan ne uski jaan li. Wo iss baat ko kabhi accept hi nahin kar payi ki Armaan sirf Jassi se pyaar karta hai. Beta, Mallika ke jaane ka dukh hame hai, lekin hum uske liye Jassi ko kaise blame kar sakte hai?
Angel says nothing. Ila stays for a while and then quietly moves out.
Jassi meets her outside. "Mamma, Angel ab kaisi hai?"
Ila: Tum chinta mat karo, Jassi beta…..woh dheere dheere theek ho jayegi.
Jassi: Mamma, abhi-abhi Papaji ka phone aaya tha. Unhone hum sabko aaj raat dinner ke liye bulaya hai.
Ila: Achcha! That's great, beta! Hum zaroor chalenge!
Jassi: (hesitating) Par Mamma, Angel….
Ila: (firmly) Don't worry…..Angel zaroor chalegi!
Jaggy B is swaggering down the corridors of Gulmohur when he almost collides with Beauty. He stands rooted to the spot. Beauty looks inquiringly at him.
Jaggy: Oh my God…..tum wahi ho na, Beauty…..Nand Kishore ki secretary..?
Beauty: Haan…..?
Jaggy (more to himself): Kya luck hai uss Nand Kishore ka……itni beautiful secretary hai aur saare finances handle karta hai….aur mujhe dekho…..stockroom mein….(assuming a flirtatious demeanor) Waise…..tum shaam ko kitne baje free hoti ho?
A voice calls in the distance, "Jaggy Baby!!"
Jaggy: (nonchalantly) Aise lagta hai….koi chilla raha hai…well never mind….
Beauty: Chilla nahin, bula rahe hai….Maddy sir aapko bula rahe hai..
Within two seconds, Jaggy has disappeared!😆
Maddy arrives, panting and annoyed. "Beauty, tumne Jaggy baby……oh myyyyyy…..yeh tum hi ho na ya main tumhari touched-up photograph se baat kar raha hun…..?"
Beauty looks somewhat bewildered.
Maddy: Beauty, tum itni beautiful ho, yeh mujhe pata nahin tha….apne agle fashion show ke liye main tumhe consider zaroor karunga…..(Beauty giggles and shakes her head) Lekin yeh batao, yeh sab kaise…..?
Beauty: (shyly) Maddy sir, yeh Raj sir ka idea tha….aur Ruby mom aur Nazneen ne bahut help ki!
Maddy: Hmmm…….Ruby mom aur Nazneen ko toh Chhupa Rustam ka award milna chahiye! Aur yeh Raj Malhotra….(winks)….lagta hai wo tumse bahut impressed hai…..bachke rehna, sweetie!
Beauty is about to protest when Maddy suddenly spies Jaggy and rushes off after him.
Nandu enters GM, apparently tired. He walks into his office and calls for Beauty.
Beauty comes and stands blushingly before him.
Nandu is stunned out of his wits.😳
Tomorrow: The Suris are having dinner with the Walias.
