Bearing the brunt were actors Gaurav Gera (Nandu of Jassi), Asif Sheikh (Ballu of Yes Boss) and Rajesh Balwani (he featured in Lo Kal Lo Baat and in Bluffmaster).
Inflicting tight slaps to each of them several times over, was Monisha Khatwani (Bindiya of Dekho Magar Pyar Se).
Ghanti baj gayi
The incident happened on Sunday during the shoot of Shree Adhikari Bros's new show Ishq Ki Ghanti (tentative title) at Talwalkar's gym, Juhu. This weekly is slated to air on SAB next month and revolves around three guys and their hilarious escapades.

So I had to render slap after slap to them, as there were about five to six retakes.
And it turned out to be quite a slapping experience," says Monisha who also features in the DD show Purab aur Paschim with Kanwaljeet.
Forceful tamacha
"They kept on telling me 'kya haath hai tera', we will certainly not forget this hand and tamacha. From all the three, Asif looked the most experienced. I have worked with him in Yes Boss (SAB) and he knew how to turn his face at the right moment and angle, so as to not bear the full impact. But the other two had to bear the pain," adds Monisha who enters the episode as a secretary.
Maaf kar do
After every slapping shot, there was also an apology session. "I had to keep on saying sorry to them after every retake."
So how many times did she slap each of them? "I must have rendered at least 15 slaps in all," says Monisha who is also into tarot card reading. "Most of my co-stars are also my clients."
Ishq Ki Ghanti will be part of the channel's new comedy hour at 8.30 pm which will have a comedy a day. It will revolve around the three men with a new female cast in every episode.
