My views on Armaan's mental state

Acc to me Jassi has made a place for herself in Armaan's heart without he knowing it. He's fallen in love with her. So the news of her marriage was a BIG dhakka to him. that coupled w/ Jassi's tirade against him convinced armaan that jassi doesnt have much of an opinion abt him. and this is not the first time..her opinion abt him has always mattered to him. Remember the time purab barged into armaan's office and gave him a big lecture. it was obvious that armaan was bored until purab mentioned jassi and said he is a horrible boss who uses her. Armaan went into instant alert mode and asked Purab if jassi has said this. coming back to the present we saw how upset he was when he was w/ raj wondering if jassi thinks so lowly of him.

The "date" shows that armaan wants to spend some time alone w/ her without the thought hovering at the back of his mind that she belongs to someone else. Also prolly to convince her that he's not a bad guy(thats why his "I'm a bad guy" to Raj). He thinks jassi thinks he's a bad guy. And thats why he bought the same card as Purab. Cuz he thinks thats jassi will like Purab's selection. Remember Jassi rejected almost all his gifts? Armaan buying what his worst enemy does acc to me is kinda cute. Shows how much he cares for Jassi's feelings for him that he did not let his ego come in b/w this time.
